It's no big deal if we're lynched but it's senseless to not really follow the chain of logic that we started with Ouro. I'd be really suspect of anybody trying to throw us off that scent.

Out of curiosity, do you not have the same issues that fran does? Question for Worm. He seems to have a hard on for Star and I can't recall you mentioning much on it.

The only way I'd consider the possibility of someone lying about the letters/role blocks would be if one of the recipients flips ascetic. Otherwise it's too much forward planning.

Except the chain of logic involving Ouro was that it was unlikely they would be blocked twice by scum so either the themselves were scum or one of their targets were. Turns out it was a town blocker which wiped out those theories. You're the one trying to use outdated information to justify a current lynch.

This isn't the last game, and with RoyalMonkey knowing about the difference between town and scum, it's possible that the role could have been intended as a weak cop. If we don't have any other investigative roles I'd consider the odds on that being higher.

tbh I'm probably down for either lynch, with Xkark being a more mild preference

going back through today, I guess I see the arguments for Xkark moreso than I do for StarBro. we've been on opposite sides this whole game, pretty much, which is why we're just going off in different directions. we do some mild idea-bouncing in chat, though.

i trust my partner's reads

like all the concern about lynching pr roles now but last day phase no one even cared

since then we've gotten no info from the flip and a couple claims that don't give any real info

This is why I am hesitant to vote xKark (also because they just don't strike as scummy to me).

If I move my vote, I'll move it to racohrs or StarBro, in that order. I've already posted several times why I think StarBro isn't the best lynch but I find it better than xKark.

uhhhhh there is a vast ocean of difference between a roleblocker and a mailman in terms of PRs. I'm not factoring in Sawrian's PR status in my decision, but just saying.

That's not the illogical part. The illogical part is why would scum roleblocker claim there when it's going to definitely get them lynched if they survive all to save a pair that's either A) a non-entity that isn't even going to be saved by the claim for sure or B) a pair that was never in danger of being lynched. It makes no sense as a scum ploy.

Reading that post kind of reminds me of the discrepancy with what Ouro said. Ouro/KK said the first person int he pair had to give their command, while RoyalMonkey said their PM says it's random. NAI, but curious.

And if you're so certain on lynching us because of a claim and acohrs read he just won't explain then what are your thoughts on Royal/Monkey's claim?

My guess is that has to do with us being the silencers and thus being unlikely to silence ourselves, but that's rote speculation.

For meta reasons, yes. Opening up about the silence immediately and seeming that there was no one else silenced that day. Behavior-wise, I understand the logic of what Kark is putting forth and it doesn't seem scummy, and they were not evasive at all about what happened with the silencing, either. These are small things in the grand scheme, but give me a touchstone even if I don't agree with their arguments necessarily. We can have different reads and ideas but still be aiming for the same things and my guess is that's what's happening here.

But I'm not 100%.

With 9 minutes left and the two vote leaders tied at 5, I'd be surprised if it goes anywhere. Though I'm annoyed at the sudden activity and against me with bad logic, I'm not going to help here, still seems likelier town than scum to me.

We didn't feel safe claiming today. We felt that we had to because we could tell people were going to be grilling us all day and a town hooker isn't exactly something you drop right at day end. People need time to process that.

Yeah, it probably won't and then I'm sure I'll switch to StarBro, but that sorta feelsbadman because I think AbBro has good intentions and my guess is they are gonna flip town. I've been wrong a billion times before, so.
