I havnt been feeling this or the previous tournament arc. I really enjoyed the black arc, because it felt more like Z. Anyone else feel this way?

I've enjoyed all three arcs. My only complaint about the current arc is that the actual Tournament of Power battle doesn't feel, well, dire enough.

So how long is Slaythe gonna act like a bitch because 17 didn't get in the game? It's been damn near a week man we get it. You will survive.
I mean he has a right to be upset about it. He's not doing any harm voicing his opinion.

People's insulting him over it is way more annoying than him complaining anyway.

Slaythe has been the person hyping the game up since it's reveal, and even before it's reveal.

I love this arc so far, buildup and the actual tournament. More than any of the past arcs.

17, 18, Gohan, Caulifla, and Kale have been the best parts of Super for me.

and Champa.

I've made similar points before, so yes. Tournament arcs don't do much for me since they feel limited in scope and the setting as well is limited to one place most of the time. It's why I enjoyed the Cell arc so much: the z fighters got to travel a whole bunch.
That said, the ToP is bearable so far, and I still like it better than the Black arc, which also was very limited in what it did with its setting. In fact, most if not all of Super's arcs took place in one place only so far.

Trunks arc started strong but ultimately disappointed. Current arc and everything after the Trunks arc has been significantly better. The tournament does need to heat up a bit though, I agree.

Is it me or does 16 look like he knows he's foul for being the other full Android in the game lol?

18's looking like "well you know what it is so..."

I'm sure 17 will look just fine in cutscenes. To me, that's all that matters
because I won't buy a game in a genre I don't like just for the story

He actually does look fine on his High quality model.

He is a bit shorter than he should be but his proportions are fine.

The in game model is literally 18 because I assume his real proportions broke her animations.

What? U11 is most certainly the toughest dudes around, it's just U6 and U7 have much more of a symbiotic relationship due to shared races.

Then you have standouts like Ribrianne from other universes getting their due.

Also, this is Dragon Ball. It's SUPPOSED To be about U7.

Are they really
We got an episode of half getting knocked out including a named and prominent trooper.

One got off screened

Dyspo did well then wrecked and lost strings easily

Ribranne had a fun episode but did nothing impressive

I know it's a u7 show but it's not like other guys besides U6, Jiren and Dyspo for half an episode were impressive

Kid Buu is probably a lock. He's the final villain of the original series, you can't not have him. Super Buu is the questionable one.

it's weird cause Majin buu and kid buu get more attention, but I consider Super Buu the main villain of the saga.

He by far did the most.
And he wasn't weak like the others.

Besides the fact that the show itself has clearly contradicted your first claim, it's just boring, alright?

It's boring watching yet another bit of fodder get fodderized on screen to play up a character we already know is competent at fighting. It's boring not seeing team attacks or actual tactics at play. It's boring knowing the grand majority of fighters participating are so far below the strongest few that they may as well never have existed in the first place. It's boring knowing that an entire universe's GREATEST FIGHTERS couldn't get ONE SINGLE ELIMINATION BEFORE BEING ELIMINATED.

That last one is a bloody cardinal sin in a battle royale like this. Talk about sucking away all the tension! It's actually impressive how much they managed to fail to meet my expectations and ruin my ability to enjoy this series.

Sorry, I shouldn't be so negative. I mean, I'm not completely bored, and at least things will start to have tension again when half of U7 immediately jobs to Jiren (you know this is coming), but still, they had a good idea here and completely failed to capitalize on it, so, well, I'm not really going to be very favorable towards Toei on this (and I also somehow doubt Toyotaro will do a better job).

Above all else, in a tournament with 80 fighters, no one team should be getting a kill count of 20+ before the tournament is even through. That's just stupid. It beggars belief. It's not right. I can't stand it.

I just want them to hit the climax already so we can have our flashy animation cuts and move on to something better. Something they're better suited to, at least.

I mean, U7 isn't winning this tournament, so I wish they focused on U7 less. I honestly don't even think U7 is in the final 2 anymore, I think Jiren or Toppo makes it past U7. That's my opinion, not stating that as fact.

If U7 wins this tournament, then sure focusing on U7 is right, right now it doesn't feel like U7 is winning, and if they do it's bad writing,, it feels like U6 is obviously the one winning, that's how things have been developing, and I think it'd be more interesting if they focus on a dynamic between the winning universe, U6, and a new universe, U11.

U6 has taken out most of U11, the universe hyped the most, yet U11 hates U7 because they're the main universe and the one we should care about. I'd rather have seen U11 form a hatred for U6 instead, it'd be more fitting with how the tournament is going, yet stuff like that is held back with this logic that Dragon Ball is about U7. What if the exhibition match had been U6 vs. U9? Hit, Caulifla, and a Namekian or Frost. A Hitman who kills people for money, a saiyan who enjoys fighting plus in charge of a gang, and we can assume the Namekians are going to be evil, and if not that's where you throw in Frost, that's 3 people Toppo would hate, and form a rivalry with instantly, and it's more believable than just Goku, and he could form that hatred as well, since the GP would tell everyone during the exhibition match that it was Goku's idea for the tournament, and since it was Goku's idea, Gok would probably go with even if he's not fighting, to scout the competition, maybe he could convince Gohan as well, watching some good fights might get his saiyan blood flowing. A Toppo vs. Goku fight might have been more interesting if Goku never thought Bergamo, because it'd be more fresh. We wouldn't have the Buu fakeout hurt as much. The only thing that benefitted was Gohan's fight with Lavender, but they could have saved that for the ToP, only it's more onesided with Gohan having Ultimate.

You can still have Gohan be badass, Piccolo, Roshi, and 17 do cool stuff, but honestly I wish the big rivalry was 2 different universes that weren't U7, we've had 600 episodes of Dragon Ball focusing on U7. And right now the outcome looks like the 18 episodes focusing on mainly U7 for the buildup of the tournament, could have went more to U6 and U11.

I dunno why you think this is a sure thing

I mean I feel like with all the episodes we have ,that's where it'd heading. I didn't really think about that until this recent episode, I'm sure something in the next 3 episodes will change my mind. When the tournament started we all thought U7 was winning. It could be different, but at this point I don't want U7 winning, me personally.

It'll probably end in U7 vs. U6, which I think is worse than U7 winning because it's a rehash of the Champa arc, so it ending with U6 vs. U11 is more me hoping than what I think.

Even if it's for a little. I'd love to see U7 get erased for a few episodes. Yeah at that point we know they'll get wished back, or they weren't really erased, but we all kind of knew that already, so that's the risk they take to do something different.

Gohan got his revenge for being sidelined in the Trunks arc. Now it's time to finish off U6.
Gohan better pay for Botamo's and Magetta's marriage counseling after this.
He's not finishing them off when Half their universe hasn't even been revealed yet, one race being high profile due to being Namekians.
Even if it's U7 vs. U11, U6 is hanging on past U4, U2, and U3.

I mean you can say he's been excited and hyping it up in this thread. But gaming side has a crowd hyping it. Mainly the MvC crowd.

This better happen.

It was stupid how they sidelined him in the U6 arc too, they couldn't even have him participate in that party episode where Beerus dresses up as Monaka for some reason :/

Isn't it technically Future Trunks fault for not telling Gohan? So really you should want Gohan to kill/ erase Future Trunks.

Also it's technically his schools fault, and Pan's fault, he didn't go to the U6 tournament, so it'd make more sense to Gohan to get his school/ Pan erased.

By this logic Gohan should have teamed up with U9 as a way to thank them for getting his fighting spirit back.
