Narration tends to be a touchy subject when it comes to movies.

Some Movies greatly benefit from it, usually because they are structured around it. Like these:

The Big Lebowski
Fight Club
Goodfellas

I think my favourite has to be Snatch. It's wonderful. It really brings the movie together.

I still like the Narration in Blade Runner. I honestly believe it helps the movie.

I think it adds to the thought process. I'm a fan of it. It fills in gaps. Now being a fan of the original release and then watching the numerous other versions without the narration, even though it's not present you are gifted with the knowledge of information.
