You are SO SO Wrong!!! It's a jolly rancher not a jelly Bean.Eisenberg's Luthor feeding an uncomfortable government official a jellybean because eccentric.
ThisGood.
He was easily the worst part of BvS.
.Good.
He was easily the worst part of BvS.
It still amazes me this is a scene in a "serious" superhero movie.
Maybe if the Joker was doing, maybe. But Lex Luthor?
With Batman-News it's less a grain of salt and more of a salt clump the size of my fist.
Lex was in BvS?
Shit I thought it was a poor attempt at the Joker origin story that ended with him being more the Riddler from the 90's Batman movie.
Worst part of the movie, IMO. Not at ALL Lex Luthor.
Edit: And gimme this, just like the earlier post:
I still don't understand why he killed his assistant
No one ever really stops to points how fucking awful the DCEU's villains are.
Ego > Piss Jar
Vulture > Hunka Hunka
This always bugged me too; more than piss jar and jolly ranchers. IIRC, even she was looking around for Lex just before the bomb goes off. What an asshole.
Yeah Eisenburg Lex was no Lex at all sure ok. Superman existed before Bruce Tim you know.

So...Lex Luthor. You can't blame a snake for being a snake.
Lex as a scrawny, whiney, self obsessed pussy never for one moment felt right, with his fragile ego monopolising all his scenes I honestly couldn't bare him, he was the worst part of the movie and didn't feel like a threat that can't be swatted with ease.
Luthor never really struck me as the type to let trusted associates be reduced to collateral damage; good help being hard to find these days, and all.
We've never had a good Lex Luthor on screen.
EDIT: I meant on film, people! Not TV.
Whedon single handely salvaging the Justice League
You need a Lex Luthor, I got a Lex Luthor for you
Get Rock away from that Black Adam crap
Say what you will about the movie overall, but Kevin Spacey as Luthor was a pretty damn good casting in my opinion
You don't read comics do you.
I hated it, he was doing a Hackman impression (which makes sense since it was supposed to be a sequel). I'm not sure why we haven't seen one in the vein of Smallville/DCAU/ DC Animated Originals yet.
lol what
I have, but maybe not enough to form a complete psychological profile of Lex Luthor.
Do we have any other sources besides fucking Batman-News? lmao
Stop. Posting. Rumors from those sites. Jesus christ. Batman-news.com got it from a Twitter Q and A from Batmon-on-Film.com which it turn probably got it from the Reddit "info" dump from a few days ago. When will you guys learn to stop doing this!?!?
I fuck with it.Recast and reshot with Shia labouf.
Was looking forward to seeing more piss jars
Well he's a Petty Egotistical Sociopath with Daddy issues. Hackman Lex was this, Smallville Lex was this and Eisenburg Lex was this. I believe that people are taking their dislike of the Actor out on the Character when the Actor played Lex Perfectly. That is Who Lex Luthor is Not the Suave Business Man but the Petty Jealous Asshole who has to have it his way or No-way. Lex would rather destroy the World then have Superman be apart of it because that's how he rolls. That's why he's Superman's Arch-nemesis.

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I do think the rooftop scene is actually pretty solid and the one moment where the Luthor performance I wanted from Eisenberg shines through.
Literally the only person who could tie him to Wallace Keefe (she drove him to wait at Keefe's apartment).Ok so why kill his assistant? That was just stupid and impractical.
So, what was the reason he killed Mercy?Well he's a Petty Egotistical Sociopath with Daddy issues. Hackman Lex was this, Smallville Lex was this and Eisenburg Lex was this.
