I don't have the link, but this was the picture.

What did the question marks turn out to be?

I'm mostly ok with that as long as it is nothing essential.

I hope the game gets a demo though. I know it's getting great word of mouth but I want to give it a try before shelling out $60.

Can't believe I'm considering preordering this game (Amazon Prime discount makes it tempting), had no interest in it before today...

Can we have some impressions/reviews already please?

I've said it before in another thread, but my biggest concern here is the length of the game. My gut is telling me that it won't be super long and that replayability may be an issue. I have that sinking feeling that while it may be brilliantly polished and flashy, possibly even groundbreaking...it may be marred with a quick campaign that is at odds with a $60 price tag.

Initial impression are great...but I'm looking to be in for the long haul, if possible. I'm saving my money for longer experiences this Fall (hopefully Destiny 2).

Conversely you can buy it, play it, beat it quick and trade/sell it while value is high.

Mario Kart 8 and Mario Golf: World Tour had rather nice season passes that got you quite a bit of content for a low price.

MK8's in particular. 16 new tracks + new racers and new skins for 12 bucks, that's like half a new Mario Kart for a fifth of the price. Incredible deal.

Press releases have already pegged the game's story mode to last 20h, plus probably a significant amount more for the coop/solo challenge missions and score-chasing replayability. I'd say fears of a lack of content are unfounded at this point.

Great to hear :)

If that is the case I might get the season pass once done with it.

We were promised Rabbids footage. And yet, the second it struck midnight, Nate hadn't posted them.

Drake's Deception.
Technically, he should've started uploading it minutes before midnight, so it'd be on time, but noo. Nate the Late.

I'm so glad this game is from Ubisoft, because that means it will likely go down in price sometime before the end of the year. I don't like RTSs enough to justify spending $60 on it, but I definitely want it at a lower price.

Today is indeed the day, but the hour has not yet arrived. 9am EDT is when the embargo lifts for today. Forgot to mention the time earlier. As atonement, I'll upload a few music tracks.
First you say you're in Malaysia. And now — now this.

*dramatic pause*

Who are you

Could you imagine, for a moment, what it must be like if you were a reviewer with a copy of Mario + Rabbids, and you were one of the few — no, maybe the only — who had found Rabbid Waluigi and confirmed his existence... and yet, bound by the embargo as you were, you couldn't tell anyone about it.

This must be how Neil Armstrong felt coming back from the Moon.

I'm not sure if previews for this amazing-looking game will heal this Half Life-sized wound I have been dealt.

BUT I'm sure as hell gonna give them a try :D

The game was pretty sure day one for me, now I'll wait for the Reviews and look if the content of the base game is decent.

They took payment at half 9 this morning and also have the game down as in stock rather than preorder, on their website. I'm still not confident that they are going to dispatch for delivery tomorrow...

If it says in stock on their website then that's a good sign.

Have faith my friend!

What does this have to do with RTSs?

At least the store where I preordered the game, the store offered it as preorder bonus. This is Finland, BTW.

Several retailers here in Sweden all advertise it with all preorders. Not sure if everyone does it however including the place where I would get it at.

pre-order goodie @ubisoft-store

Ubisoft Forums said:
The Pixel Pack - composed of 8 unique pixel weapons - is an exclusive offer for fans who pre-ordered the game from specific retailers. Unfortunately, the digital shop does not feature pre-order currently and if you want to purchase Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle digitally, you won’t be eligible to the pre-order bonus.

Woooow, nice ;//

Aren't we past the embargo hour?

I genuinely hope -- like, deeply hope -- that you don't let this get in the way of you enjoying the game. If you never saw this thread and you never heard that M+R had a season pass you'd never feel like you were missing content. This is not a Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite situation where you feel like content is being deliberately held back in order to push DLC purchases.

I think you'll find that the game is very meaty. I'm actually a little worried about being ready for embargo, to be honest.

I bought a physical copy on a whim yesterday, quite a bit cheaper than the digital version. Technically it was a preorder but the preorder bonus was missing :)

Oh well. Gonna try it out later today.
