Thankfully, Minecraft and Mojang has become better off since he abandoned them. Game has enriched a generations worth of lives. Think how many kids would grow up to become better coders than that loser?

A. Hid it better then while he still had to keep in mind his company and IP.

B. Becoming a billionaire actively drove him insane.

Probably a bit of both! Kind of like how alcohol is generally about weakening impulse control (doubly so if you're not getting drunk but THINK you are) the money probably means he doesn't have to hold back, and he might even be BORED and more prone to being dumb.

Mike Rowe's bootstrap bullshit was my milkshake duck.

Loved him emphasizing programs that showed people doing things that kept "civilized life possible for the rest of us" in Dirty Jobs, but his "pledge to work" ignores the collapse of the system many of us are in.

It's likely more of a generational problem, as the pathway he speaks of collapsed for the following generation, but it's still sad that he doesn't see it.

The sole post recognizing what had happened was posted in a thread that was immediately locked afterwards. Staff has since quieted talk about him since the knowledge that one of GAF's most prolific members is a known sick fuck isn't the greatest publicity.

Minor example compared to some of these - but Kendrick shouting out XXXTentacion was a letdown.

Honestly not shocked at Notch's stuff. I just hope he says something ban-worthy and gets kicked off Twitter and hopefully gets his shit together.
