I really don't get EA not doing anything for NBA Live or NHL.

But I am going to hold off on playing the EA Access FIFA trial until I get my XboneX.

One of the few exclusive games I've been interested in that isn't on the list, but should be so I get more of an excuse to get a OneX is Sunset Overdrive. It was well received

it really wasnt and it sold poorly to boot
i know gaf loves SO but sales and reception proved something different to MS. they dont care about it anymore

I really would like to see a full fledged Recore Sequel in 2 or 3 years, tbh rather than a patched SSOD or MCC or Ryse.

Yeah I did notice that, but Re DOOM, thought it strang ethat Nelson didn't add it to the list and people have said reps won't talk about it on Twitter, but it is under 4K on there.
Disregarding their horrible site filters; it was in their E3 presentation with all the other confirmed games. I don't think someone just randomly planted it's box art into a sizzle reel talking about XB1X enhanced games on their stage

It looks like they will be doing something for NHL although they don’t go into detail as to what..

That said, however, NHL 18 will be supporting the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro, as Kwong confirmed that the game will be enhanced on both those platforms to DualShockers. “NHL 18 will be enhanced [on the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro],” he confirmed.

You can make a Ryse sequel without the IP. Just make a linear 4 hour cinematic slasher without depth or gameplay diversity.

Go ask Crytek! The only viable solution I see here is MS take the risk to obtain the IP. But I doubt they will do that.

It’s a hack and slash game set in ancient Roman, there isn’t much IP to ah e really.

The name is also a stupid spelling to match all of Crytek’s other games

go troll elsewhere

I mean while I don't know if the poster is trolling, they aren't exactly wrong.

The game was, at best, a very mediocre 3rd person action game with amazing graphics but shallow gameplay.

Really, outside of graphics, there's not a single thing the game did better than any of its peers in the same genre.

Of all the games that should be tossed into obscurity from Xbox's line up this Gen, ryse rises to the top.

There are titles that legitimately could be something great if given the chance for a follow up (ReCore) and nothing in ryse outside its setting even comes close to showing that kind of foundation for a sequel.

The time based combat was godly. Specially in the higher difficulties, feels like a more gruesome guitar hero.

I personally think Recore > Ryse and Recore should get a sequel which I already expressed above!

And troll post is still a troll post!

True.

Honestly though, MS already owns an IP that would fit far better than ryse ever would in the Xbox line up while offering a unique setting and mechanics not found in other entries in the 3rd person action genre...

Exactly, the return of Blinx as a gory third person hack and slash title with unique time bending mechanics is what Xbox has needed for years now.

But seriously, the Ninety Nine Nights IP is owned by MS, along with a few others that might surprise some of you (Marlow Briggs) It was originally a musou clone, but I always felt the IP could serve a much better purpose: MS's God of War.

My rare working version of True Fantasy Live Online is rad in 4k.

I would love a sequel to ryse, thought the game play on the hardest difficulty was fun, and enjoyed the story.
A sequel would maybe take a Dante's inferno direction being what happens.
Can see why people could think it samey, but on the hardest difficulty i found it enjoyable and loved the setting.

Yeah I loved it. Ancient Greece would be a good setting for a sequel.

Wow...literally not even enough titles out for the XBOX ONE that I already own to make me buy titles for it much less the X1X. What a wastebasket of a console. If I ran on Win 10 I'd just sell mine off and play Killer Instinct without it.

To each their own I guess, my experience with ryses combat was anything but "godly".

Now ill admit I'm probably being a bit too harsh on the game, but in my time with Ryse, the combat itself started off as simple but fun and gorgeous to watch, to quickly becoming tedious and repetitive after you've seen the same execution for the tenth time.

I feel this is even further demonstrated by Ryse's multi, in which your a gladiator fighting throughout various locations in a shape shifting coliseum. All there is is combat with some small objectives thrown in here and there, and after you play maybe two rounds of that you will have seen almost everything the game has to offer combat wise.

I will admit I'd boot up the game for a Xbox one X patch, because for all my complaints it still is a gorgeous game to see in motion.

Ive put 120 hours into dark souls 3 on xbox one and ill gladly put another 120 more in if we get a res boost to 1080p and an unlocked or possibly locked 60 fps.

Yes please.

It's so painful to go from Dark Souls II: SotFS's buttery smooth 60fps to III's not even locked 30.

Yeah, not to mention the bad anti aliasing too. It's quite surprising that there's definitely a good few games still missing here. The launch is getting closer.... come on folks.

A ReCore sequel with proper dev time and money would do great for me...i need more ReCore...though i still have content I need to finish in this one.

Is there any info on a R6: Siege patch? All these other Ubi games that have gotten some support(For Honor, Division, Wildlands), it's hard to believe we haven't heard anything since this one is so popular.
