In IT ;-)"Where are the clowns?"
Live-a-Live makes me think of an Animal Crossing-type of game for some reason.
when i see the name wipeout, it makes me think of that tv show where they made a bunch of assholes traverse impossible obstacle courses suspended above mud
An entire series of games, apparently.
Stephen's Sausage Roll
DanganRonpa literally translated means "Bullet Refutation" which sounds more like some kind of action shooter rather than the mystery VN that it is.
Slap Fight is an odd name for a shoot 'em up.
Racer/shooter hybrid is not the first thing that comes to mind when one hears the title Alleykat.
Slightly ot, but I was extremely confused when I first heard the name Assasin's Creed: Unity, since Unity is so synonymous with the game
engine. Still can't really read that name without that association in my head.
It took me a while to realize that they (probably) mean crossing as in crossing the street. Still kind of a random name though, especially since the original Japanese name is "animals' forest".
SuperHot doesn't scream matrix-like first person shooter. More like a Hot Potato minigame.
Tales of Symphonia doesn't scream JRPG, more like a musical.
Legend of Heroes doesn't scream turn-based JRPG about teenagers/young adults saving a country, more like a Marvel Superheroes action game series.
lolPaper Mario: Sticker Star sounds like an RPG.
Silent Hill
Nah, that sounds pretty stock to me where the horror genre is concerned.
Gravity Rush sounds like it would be a physics puzzle game.

Wut.
I remember asking my mom to buy me Twilight Princess and then she asked me why do I want a girl's game? lol
In the same vein: I always found the name "Maximum Carnage" a little too extreme for what it actually was - a superhero beat 'em up. I know it's named after the character, but when I hear "Maximum Carnage" I'm picturing a Doom or Mortal Kombat-esque 90s gore game.
