Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite's Collector's Edition is being sent out and...

I have the Collector's Edition and have been posting pics on my Twitter and Instagram (which I won't link because I'm not trying to get popped for self-promotion).

The Infinity Stones do indeed look pretty damn janky, but the figures look *great*. They feel lighter and hollower than I expected, so I really hesitate to call them "statues," but it doesn't matter - all four of them are real lookers, especially X and Chun-Li.

But yeah... those Infinity Stones are a shame.

I don't get it, the eggs are how I remember them looking in the comic back in the day, thought they should be shiny and not matte.

It's the left image that looks weird to me

Oh I see, it's a an angle issue

Capcom is just hitting it out of the park with their collector's editions.

Last year I bought the LE of the Mega Man Legacy Collection with that Mega Man statue that came with an E tank.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0188JBLBG/?tag=neogaf0e-20

The statue arrived separately from the game. With no instructions. At all. Eventually I figured out what you do. You touch his left foot to the right side of the E-tank and Mega Man lights up. Wireless charging.

After that worked for a few seconds, I decided to unplug it and move it elsewhere in the room. It shocked me, blew a fuse in the E-tank and it would no longer light up. Returned it with an hour of when Amazon delivered it.

Believes Dragon Quest is a franchise managed by Sony
I'm truly shocked.

I mean it's not like the game is a complete low budget half-assed effort... oh wait.

not to dismiss your complaints but...your talking about the very series that was spawned by rehashing years old sprites of various fighting games together

It is old news. It's just no one bothered to make a thread.
Never said it wasn't. But people are perfectly okay to keep talking about the same stuff for a few weeks, especially when it's a $200 product that hasn't even been released yet!

More like some people bring up the same shit over and over just to derail any thread they can, like you are right now. "Yeah I know SFV has been out for a year, but I just want to remind everyone that it didn't have arcade mode at launch so I didn't buy it."
You have an incredibly... generous definition of a thread derail. I'm talking about some of the responses from the defenders in this very thread. How is what I'm talking about remotely off-topic?

All the funny pictures and laughing about Capcom's scam here seem to be going on without any issue.

Man, I was so happy to pre-order this, but with how the game was shaping up, I cancelled my order. Looks like I really dodged a bullet.

Surely they've upgraded to Shitcom by now

Lol what the hell? I thought people were saying the statues were nice? They were just basing that off the marketing?

Anyone expecting the level of quality of the render is a fool. These things almost always end up looking terrible. Most CE's are such a huge ripoff.

This is the truest truth. Any figurines from CE's are likely to be poorly constructed, despite the sometimes exorbitant price hikes. This isn't good, but not Witcher 2 bust bad. But yeah of course they shouldn't use the doctored pics on the box itself.

At least they look closer to their in game models

Damn

Hopefully that's a one off issue.
