It does suck, but I personally don't subscribe to PS+ for online multiplayer since I'm not too keen on multiplayer in general. I subscribe to it for the monthly games, which... yeah, I haven't been playing during this past subscription year. I only beat Journey and Tearaway Unfolded, both of which I loved, then played some of Resident Evil, Stories: The Path of Destinies, and ABZÛ. I want to finish the last two but my subscription's about to finish in... shit, it might be up now, actually. Are these 5 worth $10 each to justify my subscription? Hell no.
I am kind of regretting this past year now, actually. But I couldn't have played Overwatch without it, so there's that. I didn't have a gaming PC when I bought it, and I actually prefer aiming with analog sticks than a mouse, probably because I played way more FPS games on PlayStation consoles than I did on my old PC that could only play the occasional.
Okay, I'm actually starting to rethink this whole thing. I could probably save more money with PSN and Steam sales now that I've got a gaming PC. Only real problem is that I won't be able to play Overwatch. Huh. This sucks. I'll still eventually subscribe to play Overwatch, sadly. The when will just depend on when they've got a "free" game I really want. I did get Uncharted 3, Rogue Legacy, inFAMOUS First Light, Transistor, and Resogun with it during the previous years, though, which was definitely worth the subscription for me. I also managed to get Resogun (which I love!) for free, permanently, through some bug of sorts on PS Store, so there's that.
This past year was pretty shit, but the monthly lineup seems to be getting better, so maybe it'll be worth it for me again. Maybe not. Just gotta wait and see.
