Power Level 280. But you'll need blue mods to convert to legendaries, and you'll need a lot, so just keep burning glimmer on blue mods until you get there.

Buy rare mods for now. You can buy legendary mods by trading in those rare mods at lvl 280.
You can get purples from killing enemies anywhere. If you're in a strike, ostensibly you're there to complete the strike. Time spent not efficiently getting to the end of the strike is time wasted.
...but I get it, when random matchmaking throws three people together, people are going to have different motivations on what they want to accomplish. Just don't be surprised when the guy running quickly through it ahead of you bails to orbit to find a better match.

He's right tho. Repping Dead Orbit with shaders, gears, guns, emblems etc. come with the extra perk of knowing that you are better than the FWC and NM simpletons in the galaxy.

Man in the briefest of moments when it's working for me I'm enjoying the game. But the constant beetle errors is ruining my fun. I'm wired on PS4 and never had this issue with destiny 1.
I waited to put time after launch hoping some patches would help. Nope.

Good to know. Do I lose the option of buying rare mods at 280? And is the conversion generic (3 of any mod) or should I be buying particular ones?
nope you can buy rare mods any time and the conversion is always 3 of the same rare mod = 1 legendary mod of the same kind

No, you need to keep buying them later too. You need 3 blues of the same type and the same gear slot.
So an arc grenade mod might be specifically for legs or chest, it will say under the mod name which gear it slots into.
The only mods are class specific are the ones for class items I believe.
Edit: Oh and it would be nice to buy what you want, but its random which blue you get.
You can keep buying blue mods and the conversion is 3 of the same mod

Just wondering if anyone has tested the armor mods that decrease certain ability cool downs.
I took a stop watch to each one of them and they are ridiculously pointless. We're talking trash like a 120 second grenade cooldown, down to a 117 second grenade cooldown with a single armor mod. I'm sure these things can stack but the super minor stat changes are pretty bad. I wish it felt more like we could customize our characters in this.

Well, I didn't manage to get to flawless, but it was a good try while it lasted (3 wins atm)
Got Prosecutor and Judgement from leveling up the Emissary rep, so that's good at least

Any titans running Skullfort with the shoulder charge tree? It is borderline OP for PVE when running Striker.
Practically always full melee and grenades. Just need to get a single kill with the shoulder charge and it stays full and grenade energy basically fills up 50%. Super fun to use killimg trash mobs, especially psions, legionnaries, and the dogs in the raid. One shoulder charge ignites all the adds around it and can kill them all outright if weak enough or they are a psion or dog.

You get tokens for every win. That is all Trials gear from the vendor I believe.
3 wins = random weapon
5 wins = choice between 2 armor pieces
7 wins = choice of 3 weapons
7-0 = Flawless shader, emblem and flawless armor, and another chance at Trials gear plus exotic chance and normal loot (I got Scathelocke from my flawless run in addition to the Trials stuff)
Looking to run a fresh raid starting as soon as we're full. Obviously not a blind raid, and we will be going into the underbelly to get all the chests people may need. It's preferable if you know the encounters to make this run as fast and smooth as possible, but there will be people new to the raid so if you don't know them you just need to be able to listen and have a mic.

Just beat Dr Lupo and Bromann in trials to win it to secure a flawless passage 6-3. Feels good. Went on his stream and he was saying how they were the better team but just fell apart. Feels even better.
