I wouldn't say Gohan sucks, but I think the reason they make him seem underwhelming is clearly because he's going to get another "angry" power up.

Like it's 100% coming. Hikari Ultimate Gohan.

They're gonna say Gohan was still scared of hurting people, but given the stakes he has no choice.

IDK...dude has lost the edge he had back in kid buu phase..its like he needs to watch someone die again to get that lame power up again

It's annoying how the anime portrays every GoD as evil or an asshole, in the manga they at least have a few GoDs who seem to be genuinely good. Manga has way more depth to the characters and story compared to the anime.

I would have agreed, if we havents just seen Heles being very positive on her Universe. And that Elephant guy from Gowasus universe was good too...

Cell was just like I'm pretty fast too. The Kamehameha + IT got him though. But he figured out how to fight against IT by itself, just by increasing his overall speed.

and i thought he used it vs kid buu but maybe not...

No he didn't. Cell got caught flatfooted every time Goku used it, which was twice.

Man, these two weeks are gonna be torture! Well, hopefully the 1h One Piece thing is fun too, it should help ease the wait.

Have there been more episode title leaks (post-this next one)? I've been off the leaks for while now. Wonder if there are any hints that something may or may not happen to cut off the tournament.

Dunno if anyone is reading the manga but they're up to the part where the High Priest summons all the Gods of Destruction and Kai's to explain they're having a tournament, it's wayyyy different from the anime

Spoilers:

Instead of Goku recruiting suckass Gohan & Buu to fight the Furry universe, we get all 12 Gods of Destruction in a FFA Brawl. Turns out that the other G.O.D.s' don't like Beerus much so we get a few panels of him fighting a bunch of them and being all awesome, before that temp alliance breaks and they start attacking each other, looking forward to the next chapter alot now!

He didn't have time to concentrate to use it since Cell upped the tempo immediately after, as they pointed out, imo. Otherwise, why not keep using it? To me I see that as countering it. I could be wrong though

....but it all doesn't really matter I guess. Even if IT was successful always for Goku, it never straight up made him beat an enemy that was stronger than him. Which seems to be the case with Gohan.

That isn't my point. My point is that Cell never countered the IT. Goku literally kicked him in the ass the first time he used it and then blew up his upper body the second time. Goku rarely teleport spams and he did it against Beerus twice who is way faster than Perfect Cell, so speed isn't really a factor.

And I said he did by increasing the tempo. It's not like we have to agree lol....

The problem is that Goku has used IT against foes who were faster than him and they never countered it. So just because Goku never teleport spam Cell doesn't mean that Cell found a way to counter it.

he straight up lost the fight for me. No ifs ands or buts.

He was losing and didn't get a hit in.
Fight gets interrupted so he has time to gather himself, think of a plan, maybe go ultimate or something crazy like that.
Fight resumes and he keeps getting worked. Doesn't get a hit in and looks tired. He is about to finished if not for freiza.

I was waiting for that Aha moment that didn't come

This is precisely why I say Gohan is useless. What a chump.

After what U7 did to him, I doubt it. Yes, Frieza isn't Gohan, but the fact that U7 allowed such a scumbag to fight in the tournament won't sit well with the other universes.

Won’t sit well, as in have further consequences? I don’t think so.

After all, Universe 6 has recruited an assassin and a known war monger, yet nobody seemed to care. It’s true that Freeza takes evil to the extreme, but when it comes to the survival of the universes, everything is fair game. Also, the gods themselves even use scumbag tactics as shown by the whole scheme by Quitella and Sidra to sabotage U7 before the tournament even started.

Here are title leaks for 111, 112, and 113. With the context of what the special is about, these titles are pretty exciting.
111: Hit vs. Jiren
112: Vegeta's Resolve
113: Fighting Maniac Saiyan Battle

This has to be one of my favorite Super tracks since it's popped up. It's fantastic.

Sumitomo has gotten so much better since Super started out.
Hey the special is on my birthday...
What a nice birthday present :D

It probably wont happen, but a finale of
Universe 6 vs Universe 7 saiyans would be quite fun if done right.

Since Frieza's been in the spotlight, I cosplayed him at EGX last week and obviously played DBZF.

I just want to say that I'm really liking the subtle badass moments tying into the fighters knowledge, like last weeks episode, one of the highlights for me was Roshi instantly smashing the bottle when he saw Frost gained control.

And in this weeks, just the whole 100% buff form, Freeza luring Frost into going 100% and then standing around whilst commenting how much of a stamina drain it is (since Frost is weak af) before blasting him out.

Thanos acquires the fully powered Infinity Gauntlet in The Avengers: Infinity War, but loses when all the superheroes team up together to stop him.
Roshi has been awesome in this arc. Frost was being really interesting too until he... vanished.

Can't wait for DBS Kai 10 years from now.

One rough scene doesn't make him useless or a chump when he's had good development the entire arc so far.

Seems like they might have foreshadowed something like this at the end of 103. Maybe.

Gohans gonna win the whole thing or make Jiren realize that Goku and Co. arent all bad before being last to go. I say this because this whole tournament has been a show of force by Goku and Vegeta, theyre handily outranking everyone they fight and everything is going their way even more than usual. This is not even as difficult as the lead ups to boss fights much less a universe erasing ending. Gohan has been getting his ass whooped but not really and for no reason theyre just setting expectations really low even though they already showed ultimate gohan can go toe to toe with ssb. Goku is gonna get a new form and still get wrecked, and Gohan is gonna Do It For Her ® and duke it out to the end despite getting his ass whooped. I also dont see how all these universes stay erased, seems a waste to create a twin universe and champa and the like just to erase them. Toppo and Jiren will win and wish back the universes. Goku will not learn anything.

Eh, I liked his scream and ultimate power up after being uppercut by Frieza. Loved the Vegeta one too in the last episode.

But he was unable to catch Goku when he was using IT to make up for the loss of speed.
Yeah IT is pretty amazing. Unless Im remembering incorrectly its faster than Whis's teleportaion/travel because in the series Goku utilised IT over traveling back with Whis because it would get them to earth faster, the whole reason Gohan had to power up beyond his body's limit.

They are all Gods of Destruction. They basically are a nessacery evil.

He fought Super Buu, not kid Buu. And that "edge" got him absorbed anyway. Super actively addressed that problem in episode 88 and the result is clearly seen in episode 103. Not sure why people are forgetting about that now but here we are.

It seems like no one but Jiren is a match for the Saiyans and Frieza when they fully power up.
Well there is Hit, Toppo maaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe Dyspo
But the Saiyans were always the master race after Frieza commuted genocide and got rid of the fodder

I'm still disappointed by the lack of off-screen ringouts by other fighters. With a handful of exceptions, no one but U7 gets kills in this tournament. And also, we had enough fighters be kicked off stage in a quick scene, why not give these to fighters of other universes to at least make it look like they're worth shit?

I don't get it either it would at least make other guys look less like chumps and bring back some of the chaos and most of them don't feel "Universes greatest warriors"
Then again 7 had Tien and 6 had Rota

It makes the our characters look good so I guess it's a plus

It's Hilarious for how much talk U11 get they only got one elimination

Thinks buying more servers can fix a bad patch
So in the anime previously, Whis mentioned there's a mortal stronger than god of destruction... that the god of destruction of that universe is stronger than Beerus, and Beerus replied that he only lost to that God of destruction in an arm wrestling match

and in the manga it was revealed that Quitela is the one who won the arm wrestling match against him...(i know the anime and manga can be different, but I don't think its a coincidence)

and using that deduction to put two and two together, the mortal that's stronger than god of destruction might be 1 of the 4 surviving team members of U4: Damon, Monna, Shantsa and Gamisarasu

So far the most interesting characters this arc have been Roshi and Frieza.

Roshi became kind of relevant again and can now be considered strong. Also I truly felt like he was a martial master. Sensible, logic, smart with a lot of experience.

Frieza because he is just so much fun. Hella strong, free, surprising and just awesomely evil and carefree.

Krilin wad nice too, he did get stronger and a bit more relevant.

I think we already agreed end of last week that its Shantsa the Janemba lookalike

I wish Zeno's erasure was as detailed as Beerus' Hakai.

This just looks like he's teleporting them somewhere...
