Damn the Athletic article on the Jets PK was great. Can't wait until they get a full time Winnipeg writer, but in the meantime these Dellow deep dives are fantastic.

What does that say about all the athletes that are kneeling? He's perpetuating a fiction that undermines protestors and strengthens their opponents.

He had a great article on Price's PK save % under Therrien compared to Julien and explained why it's been so much better under Julien, some really great stuff.

More like he has a unique opportunity to raise awareness, especially for someone who wants to be the face of the NHL. If he doesn't want to get involved, say nothing, his comments are him picking a side.

That's your interpretation of his comments. He never said that people who do kneel are disrespectful of the flag or the nation.

This is the problem with what Trump has done. He's suddenly divided people into camps of kneeling or not kneeling, and somehow if you're a person who wouldn't kneel you belong to Trump's camp and the ignorant and/or racist group. Nobody asked PK what he thought of the racial issues in the U.S. it's all about kneeling during the anthem. You can't just clump everyone together who says they wouldn't kneel and claim they're all wrong, otherwise entire teams of guys that stand every single night are suddenly in the wrong. It's ridiculous that people are viewing it like this now.

It's not that he said he wouldn't kneel. It's that he's perpetuating the belief that when you kneel, you are disrespecting the anthem. When answering whether or not you would kneel, you need to say you are aware of what they're kneeling for- police brutality and racial injustice. Saying I won't kneel because it disrepsects the flag, anthem, country, what have you, you are shifting away from the original discussion.

It was irresponsible of P.K. to say what he did not because he's wrong or his reasonings invalid, but because he is allowing the original point to be corrupted. He doesn't need to kneel to show solidarity, he needs to be vocal in his support of the kneeling athletes and not play this nationalism politics to distract from the suffering of POC.

Green doesn't want to rush Horvat's recovery so Granlund is centring 🐻🧀 and Boeser tomorrow. Still no idea where Granlund will end up in regular season.

Virtanen is also playing tomorrow but doesn't look like Goldobin will be.

Steen and Berglund for the Blues are gone for at least a month or so to start I think.

As Marvin says, once the NHL finds a competent dermatologist the Hawks will be suffering a grade 3 cap injury.

Nashville will miss Ellis, but they are still likely an elite team.

I feel like I'm forgetting a couple but it's almost 5PM and I hate posting for free aka after work. Later chumps!
