Children of Men is a fucking masterpiece, as are many of the films of PTA, Villenvue, and Nolan. You all are psychopaths.

And honestly, as a big Nolan fan, Children of Men is DEFINITELY better than most of his films.

I'm not a Nolan fan so I'd definitely agree with that.
Because that's a normal response. And people post their opinions in hopes of getting responses.

The simple answer is that all the reviews appeared at once on Friday when the embargo ended at 0900 EDT, and since they're virtually unanimous we've run out of things to talk about until the film's official release.
According to my local cinema in Northeast England, the film is released on Thursday 5th starting with a 2D matinee at 1030 BST (UTC+0100). Wikipedia says there will be a Los Angeles premiere on Tuesday 3rd, with the nationwide US release being Friday 6th. If you want to avoid reading spoilers, please go dark before the premiere.

My brand new Century theater played it JUST loud enough (Dunkirk), any louder would have been uncomfortable. So hopefully it stays around that level or a little quieter

RT has a real problem with people posting bait when the ratings are near perfect to attract traffic.
Her Twitter account is gold, more specifically her responses to people's comments. She's very unprofessional.
I haven't heard anyone comment on it. Both of my IMAXs though, who will usually show a film in 3D if they can, are playing this in 2D over here. In Massachusetts.

It's not playing in IMAX 3D in North America.
And the cinematographer Roger Deakins says his intended way for us to see it is in 2D scope (wide) ratio, not 3D or IMAX.
Is the aspect ratio for it in 2D IMAX actually different from the aspect ratio for non IMAX screens?

Yes, it's taller in 2D IMAX. The cinematographer's preferred version is the wider aka non-IMAX.
