I'm pretty excited for this, Nioh may still be my goty for this year, but boy does a KT PC release make me nervous.

Providing it isn't locked in to the exact same settings as PS4/pro I'll happily double dip at full price.

Ok, now I have some questions to people familiar with the game:
How does multiplayer work in this? Is it Souls-like? Can you play the entire game in coop?

It's more restrictive than Souls games, which I didn't think was possible.

Some missions are solo only and the rest must be completed once before the player can be summoned by others. So blind co-op with friends is not possible since one of you needs to clear the mission before being allowed to co-op.

That's apparently been changing in a patch if I've been reading things correctly.

I was waiting on a complete edition, but on PS4. When this gets cheap enough I'll consider getting it on PC if they don't ever release a complete edition on PS4.

This is awesome. kinda wish I had known about this before, I might have waited for the pc version to come out, but since i already have the ps4 version I will have to skip(unless a friend really wants to do a coop campaign or something...).

All the movie mode effects at 60fps. Not going to buy it (because I can't run it) but Nioh is a legit good game that people need to play.

- KT Port, so anything is possible here (not in a good way)
- 100GB!!!

I don't know about this. Wanted to try the game but the two items above kind of scare me. I guess I will see about the reports on the port.

excellent news. Good things to those who wait. 4k 60 fps Nioh inbound.

EDIT: am concerned about the quality of this port, but am willing to tinker and mod it.

Oh my word. Time to double dip!
Nioh at 120fps+ gsync/freesync with all the bells & whistles. PC players are in for a reaaal fucking treat. Praying that the port is at least somewhat decent.

I did not expect this coming over at all and played the PS4 version instead. Ah well, time to double dip next Summer Sale.

Oh hell yes.

This generation will really be remembered as the time Japanese developers finally embraced PC gaming.

Receipts pls. It'd be amazing if they did change it.

They have removed the restriction back to what it was like in the beta, Basically you and you're friend can do this missions together from the start from the yokai realm with a companion way.

The best way to play it to be fair so i'm glad they removed the restriction.

I think patch 1.14 added that. Slide 3. However I could be reading it wrong. I know they added the ability to coop without completing to some of the content.
I don't know what "Yokai realm" is but the first point on that slide certainly sounds like they removed that restriction.

Can anyone check/confirm?

This 1.14 update also adjusts the way Nioh's co-op works. Now you'll be able to play stages co-op even if you've not yet completed them in single-player, at least when you go into the Yokai Realm - a version of co-op that makes both players share a life-meter and you're only able to revive each other so many times before the mission ends in failure.
