Oxenfree, Stardew, & Axiom Verge - Which Switch games are you buying this week?

Stardew Valley out of the 3, but Axiom Verge will be mine eventually after I go through all the big releases of the year

I was super hyped for Stardew this summer when I was desperate for things to play (and wanted a portable version).

Kinda shocked but despite how excited I am to play Stardew I have too much other stuff now. Maybe I'll get to it in like 6 months but there's no reason for me to buy it now.

Oxenfree/Axiom Verge look well made but are just not my style.

Got Oxenfree in a current humble bundle, don't know if I should also support it on Switch.

Eventually for both Stardew and Axiom as I am playing Fire Emblem Warriors and finding all shrines in Zelda now.

Buying none this week, can't hold all these Switch games. I think I'll buy Stardew Valley down the line but I got my hands full with M+R, BoI, Golf Story and I still play Arms and Splatoon online during the weekend.

Still working on Steamworld Dig 2 since I just finished Golf Story. Need to go back and finish up M+R too, I finished the story but there are plenty of challenges left.

I think I'll get Axiom Verge eventually and Oxenfree looks really interesting, but I've never been interested in farming/building games and Stardew doesn't look all that different.

Definitely getting Stardew this week. Won't get Axiom Verge until I finish Cave Story. I will be getting Oxenfree at some point, but not until I've cleaned up my backlog a little bit I think.

I have them all (as well as Volgarr), so probably none. I MIGHT get Stardew because it could be nice to play on my lunch breaks at work but I could never get into it much on the PC.

Stardew Valley.

Waiting for the physical release of Axiom, I already have it digitally on Wii U don't need another digital one. Something for the collection instead is great!

Already have Volgarr on Xbox One but I loved it!

I'm all in on Stardew, have been meaning to get into it for ages and this Switch port feels like the ideal system to play it on. Would be picking up Oxenfree as well, but I just got it as one of the monthly free games on Xbox.

Kind of poor timing for Axiom as I'm still playing through Metroid on 3DS, so am getting my fix there. Will likely pick it up in a future sale down the line though.

I've been geeked to try Stardew since it got announced for Switch. I've got the feeling I'm nowhere near the end of Golf Story, but I can't resist day one SV. I'm gonna have to cycle back around to the other ones after Mario. Well, then there's Skyrim and Doom (never played either). Oh yeah, then Xenoblade. Fuck. My Switch backlog is going to look like my old Steam backlog real quick.

This.

lol this game is fucking impossible. Probably tried for an hour and couldn't beat the first level.

I'm going to pick up Axiom Verge and Golf Story eventually (before Christmas), but not this week.

Just beat Mario x Rabbids and Pokken, and have returned to beat Tokyo Mirage Sessions. At some stage I want to take a week's break from gaming so I come to Mario Odyssey refreshed and not burned out on the Switch.

Finished steamworld(great game) on Sunday. Picking up stardew on Thursday. Switch has been taking over my PC for smaller titles.

Stardew and Oxenfree. Maybe Axiom Verge at some point, but just not that interested right now.

Playing Stardew on Xbox right now, so I'll eventually get Axiom Verge. Too much in the backlog currently to justify a day one purchase.

I'm still playing Sonic Mania And Mario + Rabbids. So none. But I'll pick some up Stardew valley a later date, mmaybe on a sale :)

Exact same situation that I am in. I'm actually now slightly thankful that Battle Chasers got delayed because that would have been another thing to throw on the pile that would have slowed me down on finishing these games.

Oxenfree on paper is kind of a tough sell given its price and the breadth of Stardew and Axiom. It's a shame too because I never picked it up on other platforms and was waiting for the Switch version.

I'm overwhelmed by all the options, frankly. Just finished Mario + Rabbids the other day and now it's like "Oh should I get Golf Story, Steamworld Dig 2, or Stardew Valley?" No idea what to pick even if I can afford all of them :/

Stardew, maybe. Just heard about Oxenfree, so maybe at some point in time. Not now.

I already own Axiom Verge and I feel like I'm getting a like worn out on Metroidvania after replaying Metroid games, getting Samus Returns, and Steamworld.

Already played all of those games a long ass time ago on pS4 and PC.

Sucks that my switch is collecting dust, but I am pretty stoked for Mario.

What's so special about stardew valley. It hust looks like a framing simulator?
What you see is what you get. It's just a great "one of those". If you like the genre, this one has a lot of content, is LGBT-friendly, and it was just generally nice to see another dev's take on this type of game. I put quite a lot of hours into it on PC, and being able to play it on a handheld seems even nicer. It also has some smart ways to set goals for players in the form of a community center quest. It gives some extra structure and progression to the players that crave it.

Just bought Golf Story last night and still playing through Mario x Rabbids and I already have Mario Odyssey purchased. I want to get Axiom Verge but probably won't be buying if for some time still since there is just too much on my plate at the moment!
