Even in the google scenario, his work was turned over to someone else to be completed after google took action against him. You don't have to undo all the work someone who gets fired does, you take action and a position against his way of thinking. Hell, considering this game has two voice tracks, the devs here lose nothing in removing JonTron from the game.
As I said before, it's up to them to figure out how to handle this moving forward, but they need to make a statement.

Like, I understand that videogames are often an escapist hobby to begin with and sometimes it feels like the world is too complex and stressful. I understand if you just want to put everything that's going on in the world out of your mind and play games. I'm not going to judge you harshly on that.
But when people go "I'm able to enjoy games, too bad for all of you who have something flaring up in your conscience", I'm just like, okay? Do you actually think that's something worthy of respect? What are you even trying to accomplish by that?

While it would be useful, no, there isn't a generic mod contact AFAIK. Any mod you've seen on the Gaming side doing mod work is probably a start for your candidates thought, like Duckroll (I dunno if certain mods stick to specific places on the site with regards to duties)

Buying this game is only going to help it gain more popularity and that contributes to giving JonTron more attention, status, & influence. I don't want kids following him because they heard he was in a video game.

I believe the devs should definitely release a statement about this, even if it is too late to actually do anything about it.
That being said, people who decide to buy the game with the knowledge that JonTron is featured in it/what he's said, but solely for the fact they like the look of the game, should not be judged negatively for doing so.
