Reading through that SFV thread, it seems most of GAF is super confused as to what they are getting with the Arcade edition.

Not surprising if you saw the Rev 2 update confusion

People were confused when MKXL was announced too. Alot of them mad because they weren't getting DLC for free because the MKX owners were getting all of the XL features except the paid content as an incentive to get new people in with the disc version. It's always the same song and dance and pointless outrage when a GOTY/compilation version comes out for any game.

i guess that will now be every scrub's new excuse whenever he/she loses a match.

New Blade Runner was fantastic. Denis Villeneuve continues to be proving to be one of the best North American directors working right now.

10-4 first set with FChamp using Dorm/Ultron/Space

10-7 second set, FChamp lost all but one match with his team of Ghost Rider/Captain Marvel/Realitiy. When he switched back to his main team he actually started to claw his way back (it was like 7-1 at one point) but it was too late.

Also he claimed that during sometime in the second set one of his buttons wasn't working and he would get random buttons when trying to do storm activations but that's most likely Champ being Champ.

It's on Youtube.

Just watching that first set with the double perfects, it's pretty clear that Champ was just outclassed. There was no difference between Champ and Rayray at the last few NLBCs or HoC. Just domination by SF.

I like Rocket, so this is good.
Commentary was hilarious tho.

Another year, another Sanford says he'll play so and so game and pick top tier and do good but it never happens. This would be like his fifth straight year saying this. I think he went nuts about Urien last week saying he's cheap, etc. Typical Sanford, instead of adjusting to modern games like the rest of the OGs he just complains.

I've never seen the original. Should I see both?

Yes. The big question is which version to watch. I am partial to the theatrical because I saw it so many times. It's the been the rule since the first recut for people to dunk on the narration but for me it's part of the vibe. YMMV.

I never saw the theatrical version, and learning it had some dumb narrative voice over by Harrison would have ruined the overall feel of the original Blade Runner movie for me. I recommend watching any cut but the theatrical lol.... It's more mysterious that way and lets you soak up the atmosphere of the film (and figure out what's going on instead of being told).

TastyJam is the better duo right now anyway.

And it helps that they both play games outside of Street Fighter which allows them to approach different audiences and have experiences that SF can't deliver.
