How far in are you? I don't really like excusing books by saying stuff like oh x thing later makes all the stuff before that worth it. A book should be good from the get go. That said, there is a point where the book makes a really distinct shift to address it's problems, and by embracing them so strongly it kiiind of makes it all worth it. I don't necessarily disagree with you though lol and if you're already past that point then we'll, you're outta luck lol. I'm enjoying it more these days, but honestly my issues were way more with the terrible cast originally and the terrible lead and I kind of felt he addressed that in a kind of great way.

My interest in Black Science ebbs and flows. I've always considered it a good book, and not a great one. Today, I couldn't be bothered to pick up the new issue. I checked a few preview pages but didn't care enough to buy it. The interest just isn't there right now. But down the line I may decide to grab a bunch of issues and catch up.

My core problem with Black Science is that it's a comic about shitty dads that hit the stands right as Remender was doing comics about shitty dads at Marvel.

I read three trades. If I need to read more than that to get into it, good luck.

And this is coming from a guy who considers Uncanny X-Force to be the best X-Men story ever written.

Okay so it was literally volume 4 where I thought it turned up, and 1-3 that frustrated me also haha. Yes though, I totally agree. If you already gave it 3 volumes and you're not happy, you gave it enough.

And of course, it does have bad dads and also his new major hallmark, the game of thrones twist, but that's a given with Remender lol

Eh. Do we still like Black Panther? Marvel has this problem of putting out too many titles for every god damn character that gets popular. To the point where it becomes overwhelming and not worth the trouble of keeping up.

I'd prefer marvel to continue trying to support black characters and talent than not...

Conner admits that leaving “Harley Quinn” was a difficult decision, but one that will put her back in touch with her first creative love: drawing. Co-writing full-time with Palmiotti didn’t leave much time for it. Yes, Conner has drawn 100 “Harley Quinn” covers, while also designing the character’s new look, which aimed to take advantage of the popularity of Robbie’s portrayal on screen.

But various other artists (Stephan Roux, Chad Hardin, Alex Sinclair and many more) handled interior pages duties.

Conner is looking forward to getting back to storytelling more with her art.“Drawing the interiors is my favorite thing. I love it so much,” Conner said. “And I kind of miss doing that and I’d like to get back into it.”

Last year it was BP, World of Wakanda and The Crew. This year it’s BP, Storm and RotBP.

Next year two other books will replace them. As long as Marvel are truthful and say they’re minis that’ll expand if people like them things will work out fine.

Anyone pick up God Complex? its a new Image series but I havent heard much about it so I cant decide if I should or not. Dying of the Dead is also apparently back on a regular schedule lol. Anyone reading it? Ive read the first 2 issues in the trade but aside from the art im not totally sold on the book and I dont see much hype for it anyway. Hard to get into a Hickman book unless its really popular since you never know when hes jsut going to stop working on it for years.

Also, was this the Detective Comics issue where
Conner Kent
was supposed to make his debut?

Metal was awesome. Probably the best one yet! But man do I feel like the side issues and tie ins are more important to this event than any other in a long time.

Hey, PSA. Grabbing one of the free graphic novels will get you another free graphic novel. Their promotions are overlapping.
