CPU I think is Intel Celeron. Where do I find the GPU?

At the top of Steam click on the help bar and click system information. It will show the exact CPU and video card (GPU).

Also, don't forget that you can just return the game if it doesn't work well for you, as long as you played under two hours and owned it for less than two weeks.

Huh, a lot of stuff here I don't know the meaning of. Graphics card says Intel(R) HD Graphics igdumdim32.dll

CPU was what I mentioned earlier.

A model number would help as saying Celeron is like saying i7 or i5. Intel release dozens of variations for each of them.

Anyways, I'm not sure it can handle it. Celeron in general seem to be weaker than core duo, and I imagine their integrated graphic cards aren't up to snuff, either.

Okay, so the last thing I have to do before King Dice is the mermaid. First two phases are really straightforward but the final phase is ridiculously hard to dodge anything. It gives you barely any space.

Fuck King dice, seriously fuck that guy.
barely can get to him then how cards come out.

Keep in mind that when the cards start coming out, get used to just parrying on them multiple times until you can get to the next pink card. i kept trying to single parry on each card, but that is a mistake. don't dash to the next pink card until you're sure you can get there.

I didn't even parry for the entire game until I got to Dice Man because I didn't know it actually builds your super. Thought parrying was just a fancy way to dodge attacks LOL. Yeah, I found Dice Man to be the most annoying boss.

Same. Makes it so much harder.

I saw someone reference this earlier, but what is the creator's reason for cuphead's various color schemes depending in the situation (yellow gloves in result, yellow boots on world map, etc). I'd like to see his explanation if possible.

OMG this bee is kicking my ass. Only boss that's taken me more than a day to beat!

I get to the last phase where
it turns into a plane at the bottom of the screen
and it's practically impossible for me to avoid everything it throws at me :-(

I'm sorry if posted already found it funny :D

Wow, I never noticed Cuphead had yellow gloves in the result screen.

Just beat the game. I found
King Dice
to be really easy. Only took me 3 or so tries. Game is/was awesome and I hope they do a sequel. Already went an S ranked a few places in the first area. Not sure if I'm up to the task to do all of them.

I saved my special for the start of that phase and killed her right as she turned to that phase was super easy.

Lost my Steam save like an idiot, and I was just about to fight the last boss. Could someone either share a 100% or close to 100% save so I can tackle the last boss, or point me in the direction of where I can snag one? Not looking to replay the whole game, despite how much I've enjoyed it.

Edit: Thank you very much to Wibblewozzer for the literal and figurative save!

I enjoyed every second of that fight, failures and all. Love the nod to
Gunstar Heroes
too

That's what I'm doing too, using the default weapon (trying to beat every boss using it), but it doesn't kill her fast enough

The Technomancer

card-carrying scientician
I was regretting buying the Lobber right up until I realized how it shreds the dragon from across the screen

With that said, does anyone have advice for his final form? How do I avoid shooting the flame bubbles?

Just finished the game (except for 1 run and gun level)

Holy shit I died 345 times
I tought Mr king dice was very easy with the chaser (did it like in 10 tries) while I probably used 80 between the genie and the dragon.

Make sure you have the parry when jumping charm. If the first pink card is kind of furthur away, dash to it and then parry. You will get used to parrying those cards...

Thank you

I found that I was getting hit by the first card when I tried a diagonal jump. When I jumped straight up then over I was able to avoid getting hit on the first card. Overall it was harder for me because I never got a chance to practice on him. I barely made it most times but in the end I did beat the bastard. ;)

What I did for the plane part was simply stay on one side until the saw came and forced me to the other side. I also didn't realize at first that you can only damage the boss on the nose of the plane. Helps to bring her down faster once you understand that. As for the gloves, I ignored them until they got close, then just moved to another platform.

I used the default gun for this run if it helps at all.

What's with this robot boss? Nothing has been so staggeringly difficult so far. It's like I'm understanding something fundamental.
I had big trouble with it until I figured out the method that worked for my brain.

Kill the top part first, then the bottom part, then the middle, while avoiding the top explosions and killing the skull bombs first thing. When the heart comes out you should have a bomb to use that will help kill it pretty easy.

Second part is super simple. Just avoid it when it goes from left to right, then get back far to the left and shoot the crap out of it while avoiding skull bombs.

Last part is all just get good at avoiding shit. If you need to move fast go small. Just practice practice practice.

That’s how I did it. But I agree it totally fucked me for the first thirty times I tried it. Then I started figuring things out and died another fifty times lol.

Yeah, overall that seems to help. I was getting stuck way too much on the first 2 forms and seeing how little progress I was making was daunting.

I just fucked up on
King Dice
and the progress bar said I'd practically won. This is the worst feeling.

Also I love this boss. It's
the casino from Gunstar Heroes
only less forgiving.

Yeah, the harder part was getting to him, although the bosses on the dice board are generally a lot easier than the ones in the game, then I just mashed the parry and somehow managed to not get hit by the cards, I think the parry mechanics are very forgiving in that particular section, and he didn't seem to have any other attack.
Just beat the final boss too, was awesome.

Died some 300 times.

The only thing the game is missing is a gallery as an unlockable after completing it. Would love to see all enemies and animations.

Absolutely wonderful game.

Still surprised to see the robot boss mentioned as one of the hardest ones, I thought it was very easy compared to most, especially its third form. I think it took me no more than 10 tries.

Yeah,
none of the fights by themselves are hard, it's just doing them all back-to-back that's tricky.

Checking back in to say I've just about finally wrapped up everything I want to do.

Finished every level on Expert, and went back and got the extra 0 point achievements as well. Only achievement I have left to do is finish getting A-Ranks on all Isle 3 bosses (missing robot and medusa I think). The ultimate challenge would be all S-Ranks, but I don't think I have it in me, haha. I have S-Ranks on all of Isle 1, and have a few spread out randomly across Isle 2/3/Hell. My hats off to those of you who have done it all.

Anyway, like I've said every other time, this game is great and one of my favorites (if not absolute favorite) of the year. Anything this team does going forward has my immediate attention.

What are your routes for King Dice?

I like 3, 5, 9

Which is the cigarette, card dude? (so fucking easy) and the pairs one.

Got A+ quickly with that. You can use the super on the pairs one and skip a couple rounds.

Auto Parry makes it really simple too.

Robot boss was super easy to me on Normal, but became like the biggest roadblock in the game to me on Expert. It's really easy to perfect the first phase (breaking each part of the robot, then destroying the heart) but that "bullet hell" section afterwards just felt like it took forever to do and I would always mess it up over and over. Robot on Expert took me probably 20+ tries.

I can't get past anything on the 2nd world, with over 200 attempts, and now I am depressed.

Git Gud....

Just kidding. Tackle one level at time. I'm not great at these games, but I spent at least 40 minutes on every level/boss. Each time I'd die, I'd get a little farther than last time.

Eventually I'd beat and feel very satisfied.

Also, holy shit that charge shot helped a lot.

Keep at it! Baroness von Bon Bon was the easiest for me, are you having any trouble with a phase specifically?

Try sticking to just one boss and banging your head against it until you succeed. The dragon took me ages as well and I kept dying and dying.

I cave in and bought this game. I took out my old windows laptop and it was able to run the game with no problem. I've already beaten world 1 under an hour and a half but died like 7 times on the genie and give up for today. I'm really going to hate bosses that uses the plane...

I see everyone hyped about the charge shot but I'm using it against the dragon and I really don't see any difference in the time phases take. Hitting him with the charge shot takes just as long as the peashooter or chaser. The game has words for damage as average, below average and great damage but so far I can barely notice any difference between weapons. The first phase still takes a long time and I still get screwed by those flames in the second.

What really helped for me is to stop wanting to beat the bosses and just focus on training stage for stage.

This might not work for everyone but i find turning on your lizard brain helped too, watch a stream on the side, put on a podcast and focus on one stage at a time.

2,5,7. (Chips, Rabbit, Dancer) I can't possibly fuck those 3 up with Smoke equipped.

Having so much trouble to S rank Hilda Berg boss. Can't imagine trying to S rank the other flying boss stage *gulp*.

The game should force players on normal difficulty to learn how to use manual aim (even the casuals who don't care about A/S class rankings) because it's a rewarding skill to master and adds a layer of depth. I don't care if the Chaser damage doesn't work for A/S rankings since the majority isn't going to be replaying levels at higher difficulties anyway, only the enthusiasts. Everyone should be forced to improve their skill set as the game progresses, not use the easy way out.

Chaser doesn't even work on a lot of boss phases but because you've decided that it's the wrong way to play they should take the gun out.

Feeling a little elitist today are we?

The chaser does way less damage than the default weapon. I hardly use it for that reason.

Not elitist at all but nice personal attack there. I simply believe others should learn to use manual lock aim so they can get a more rewarding and fulfilling experience out of the game. This is to help others, not myself.

It wasn't a personal attack, that is what elitist means.

Is there a way to get all the shop items without getting all the coins? At least on Steam somehow more people have done the former than the latter and I have no idea how.
