Which of these 12 Switch eShop games are you picking up this week?

Going to be playing Jackbox 4 with some people from CanadaGAF on Friday. If I enjoy it, then I'll purchase it myself to play with some friends irl.

None of these look that great to me, so nothing.

I have heard of Syberia but I'd rather own it on Steam. That price seems preeeeeeeetty steep on Switch.

Rogue Trooper Redux!

The original game was vastly underrated. Great writing and gameplay. Especially for fans of the comic.

Just hoping it has Gyro aiming (like ALL games on platforms with gyro should).

Saw Giant Bomb Play Jackbox Party 4, this one seems awful compared to the first 3, so I will avoid it.
You watched the wrong people play the games if they made you think that about them. 4 is the best pack BY FAR (not even close) based on what I've seen and played this past week and I really mean not even close.

Seriously, I've played all the games and they are all good.

Nothing looks particularly interesting. However, Fire Emblem does look good but I will wait until after I am done with Mario for that or even later.

Trying out Don't Knock Twice...got a train journey to play this on so hopefully I'll try and keep my terrified expressions to myself.

Update: frame rate is mediocre and the game itself is your average "walking around a haunted house" affair. Was neat to play on a train at least.

Honestly nothing about this week's releases is jumping out at me which is probably a good thing considering the Switch spending spree I've been on. Maybe Oxenfree will prove to be the last game I buy and beat before Mario takes over all my gaming time.

None; not one of those games appeal to me in the slightest. I'm loving that so much stuff is coming to Switch though.

Will get Syberia, but will either wait for a physical NA release, or until I can import the physical EU version from Amazon, since last I checked it was region restricted for Amazon UK.

I love the look of The Count Lucanor. I‘m not going to buy it immediately — there‘s just too much stuff on my plate — but I will keep an eye on it.

I've just finished Thimbleweed Park, so I need another awesome game to play between the "big ones". I'm really undecided between Siberia and Stardew Valley.

Probably going to hold off buying anything new until Christmas as I have a ton of stuff to play. Still hardly touched Sonic Mania - played probably less than an hour of it, and I've had it over a month. Not played Fast RMX since the update either, and I've only done 1 divine beast in Zelda...

If I do crack it will be to pick up Golf Story or Steamworld Dig 2. Rogue Trooper is tempting.

Christmas will be a 1-2 punch of Mario and Skyrim, that will keep me busy though the winter I think!

Wow, Syberia is a 2002 PC game with pre-rendered backdrops. Weird to see it released on the Switch. How are they compensating for the different screen aspect ratio and resolution? It looks like they have squashed the image D:

Rogue Trooper (Why no physical version for Switch?)
JYDGE (For some reason, googling "JYDGE" has no hits for the game)
Spelunker Party
Syberia (How is the physical release of this game being handled? Only in certain territories?)

None, Fire Emblem Warriors, Super Mario Odyssey and DOOM are right behind the corner. I barely have enough money as it is unfortunately 😂

Sounds like a Wales Interactive game alright.

Really tempted to get Rogue Trooper. Every time I see it I just think of the original Xbox. Nostalgia might be enough to make it worthwhile for me.

None this week. I'm focusing on finishing Mario x Rabbids and Super Mario World before Mario Odyssey comes out next week. No time for any other games before then!

Given that my Switch library has nearly doubled over the past month and I've been playing everything to the end credits, and that I already have a wish-listed backlog on top of this, I'm breathing a sigh of relief that nothing interests me this week. I'm still working on 100% in Rabbids, as it was waylaid by one indie after the next, so it will likely be the game that preoccupies me until Odyssey. And there is still more to do in several other games I've picked up lately, like the postgame in Dig 2 and the hard-mode campaign in The Flame in the Flood.

We're getting back into the territory of big physical releases from Odyssey through the end of the year, so as far as the eShop goes I'm mainly waiting for Hollow Knight.
