South Park: The Fractured but Whole |OT| Asses of Fire Emblem

Nitpick.

I hate that most of the things you pick up have a generic icon instead of a proper drawing depicting everything individually, loved that about the first game.

That's a good point. I would look through my inventory and laugh my ass off in the first game whereas I never open my inventory whatsoever in this one.

I understand why they did it though

because they already blew their load on that stuff in the first game. like i wouldnt go looking through all that stuff again. otherwise all the new trash would have to only have been from the seasons that came out after SoT

There's still plenty of stuff they could have used that they didn't in SoT.

But that's besides the point. They have items in this game that they had in that one as well. The Faith +1 CD is a scrap item. But it's a generic icon where as it was the actual album cover in the first.

They could have reused a lot of them as well.

That one is more complicated than just simply using the Fartkour. Took me a while to figure it out.

Puzzle spoilers:
You have to rewind time and put the port-a-potty back up so you can fartkour off it. There's also something hanging from a beam you have to knock down.

I actually did wonder if I was supposed to implement
the rewind, as well as jump off of another object that needed to be moved somehow (there weren't any Diabetes interact prompts when searching though so I gave up on that) since it didn't seem like they would be able to jump such a long distance without anything else to hop off of, but then I actually tried the pause, instead of rewind. I also noticed what looked like a shimmering/TV station tuning over the potty, which made me think it was supposed to be moved, but I didn't think to actually try to rewind it to get it moved.

Thanks.

just beat it. Took me a little under 20 hours and that's doing most activities save for 3 in my character sheet.

If I could give one suggestion it'd be to not get the Assasin's Creed outfit. It's so cool looking you won't ever want to change outfits that the game gives you which are all intentionally dorky lmao.

Really enjoyed the title. Much better overall story, combat and a lot more characters. Don't know if it was quite as consistently funny, but it still had some hilarious moments.

I decided to play the game a second time, and I come across something that was weird.

When I tried typing in the password to Cartman's basement ("Fuck You, Mom"), but didn't bother going to his room to retrieve the password, something weird had happened when I entered the password. Cartman appeared (what I assume) as a football coach and degrade me for being a "cheater." Anyone know what the joke is making fun of? 'Cause I don't know anything about football, so I'd assume it's poking fun at a football coach for being a cheater and being a hypocrite, or something.

It's making fun of Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots with their Spygate stuff. There was an episode too where Cartman taught inner city kids at a school and told them to cheat like Bill Belichick. It's in Season 12 Episode 5 called How Do I Reach These Kids. Here's a clip of the episode: http://southpark.cc.com/clips/165712/how-do-i-reach-these-kids

Guys can you help a bit please? I can hear my gf nagging and slaming her keyboard all the time not understanding how to poop on PC, how is it done? What buttons she has to press?

Same thoughts I have. While I want to add that a bit of the magic that the first title brought in, was lost or it felt like something you already had.

Some of those ultimate moves killed me.

The Pokemon Go flashmob or Scotts sugar abuse.

I can agree, I don't wanna take my Assassin's Creed outfit off. it's just so cool. I am curious about something though.

I'm 9 hours in and JUST finished the battle to unlock toolshed as a helper (I don't think I can put him in my party though) am I roughly halfway through?

Finished it. Mastermind, did everything*, 26 hours**.

*well, didn't get all selfies, but I ain't grinding for the expensive one. Yeesh.

**I purposely take my time with these things (not a lot of fast travel, trying to find stuff) so 15-20 range is probably where most folks will end up

I ended up loving my costume. Looked like a cross between Dick Tracy and Batman at the end.

Used the Psychic ultimate move a TON.

Are you trying to time it so that it overlaps with the button icon like a rhythm game? You can press the button at any point within the huge green area and it'll work.

That's really odd. I thought a few times I actually tried that out just to see, and if you did it too early it would fail, so I just assumed you had to hit the button as the ring converged exactly with the rim of the button prompt (kind of like Lost Odyssey). That's how I've been doing them all this time. LOL.

So on that particular puzzle (did it after the replies), what exactly was the point of knocking down the potty in the first place since there's a ladder? Does it hitting the side of the building knock it down or something?

Man, I never realized that the show's creators love riffing on the New England Patriots whenever they get the chance. Now I also see where they reused the design of Cartman as that coach.

Finished it around 21 Hours.

Loved it but thought everything after you finish the big mission felt a bit unnecessary and it drag a bit, the pacing was so good up until that point.

Thought I would finish the game up real quick this morning but it's now 2 AM and I've been playing non stop pretty much.

Missing like 2 posters after doing everything else, wish they'd patch in a checklist for that stuff later. Don't feel like going through every spot again to find out which ones I miss.

Great game, hoping for a Canada DLC.

I've just finished too. Thought it was amazing. I was laughing throughout, the combat is excellent, the writing was hilarious. And the final sequences of the game are great. Really, really loved it.

Anyone know how to get their hands on Randy's Colon Creation? I have Randy's Grunt Sculpture, but that won't help me craft a Chocolate Memberito.

What the fuck is this game.

Edit: I don't mean Chocolate Memberito, I mean Necrotic Idol. The description suggests I have to get his poop sculpted. How would I do that?

You need a poop from Randy's toilet and another one from the community center men's toilet.
Then buy the recipe and Mr. Hankey Construction Set from Sloppy 2nds (costs $85 in total).

Ah, I didn't know about the one in the community centre. So I just need to get them. Don't need to do anything to them?

I took around the same play time according to Uplay, I liked the length as it didn't overstay its welcome. I never did create the Necrotic Idol, though, and didn't finish the optional boss fight after failing at the last second.. I also made the mistake of not making the optional burrito (chocolate one)/time fart power until very late into the game, it's a pretty neat power
you make a doppelganger of yourself with same exact power lineup

I got that power, but I never really used it.

I got hooked on Glitch.

How many days is this? Just got to Monday with 12 hours. Trying to do everything. I heard its longer then Stick of Truth. Beat that in around 15.

I really like how they aren't repeating the same content or jokes from Stick of Truth.

While The Fractured but Whole doesn't repeat anything, it feel like The Stick of Truth got dibs on the best stuff. It had more to pick from and had more opportunities to pick and choose what would work the best for a game.

I like how it doesn't repeat anything, but I also miss some things. I would have preferred some overlap.

I actually appreciate who the final villain ends up being, that's one of my favorite episodes.

But yes, stick of truth had more content from classic South Park, this had to rely a little bit on more modern episodes but I really enjoyed pc principal and tweek x Craig moments.

Should one beat the first game before looking at this one at all? I have it on PC but can't decide if I want to just get both on PS4 or x1x

I kept using the Tweek x Craig ultimate power. Anyone have the translation for it?

Are the extra fart powers supposed to make the enemy skip their turn as well as give you an ability? Because it does.

Because outside of one fight where I needed the faster cooldown, the first ability is useless.
