Anyone having any trouble with the netflix app on there X?
When I open the app its changes to 4k/HDR mode and it will just stay there regardless of the content being played,
And stuff just looks weird even if I turn off HDR in the xbox settings eg ghostbusters 2 looks to white and better call soul whiter too with reduced black levels.
I will test on ps4 pro to see if it's the same.

Saw an One X in action yesterday...very impressed. No hyperbole, but this was the first time a console release impressed me with the graphics jump since...probably dreamcast?
4k60 on Wolfenstein 2 looked amazing...just wow. Forza 7 was nice and sharp, not sure the stage but snowy mountains looked great....4k really makes a difference in racing when you are looking down the road / horizon.

Indeed 4k is really great pristine detail.
Hitman/gears4 looks very clean
Its anoying some games dont tell u the visual settings though like titanfall 2 and quantum break.

I love playing GTA IV on the X. The higher frame rate is wonderful!
plays brilliant for me on my lg c7, I've never watched so much Netflix since getting the X, lol
Have you tried tweaking your TV settings?, I put the contrast down a bit and set dynamic contrast to medium on the standard pre-set mode, I don't like the game mode or vivid modes.
f7 is awesome on the x

I could be wrong but I believe that you need a minimum subscription of 1 month of Xbox Live Gold to be able to download the free 360 games. The 14 day trials don't work.

That happened to me when I was turning the network on and off doing the Reda glitch in Assassin's Creed Origins.
Never had it happen anywhere else.

Well I've found out that Netflix will turn on HDR while your in thr app all the time.
But the thing is there is something up because i have my tv calibrated the same for the pro and 1X and the 1X looks worse.
The 1X netflix app looks worse then it did on my original xbox 1 fat, also the Amazon app looks great on the 1X so it definitely something wrong with netflix app on XBox 1 x.
works great for me?, try deleting and re-installing.

Is the frame pacing improved with game running on the X? I had lots of fun playing through GTA IV on the Xbox One for the first time last year.
I'd love to see a 4k patch/update for GTA IV. It'd really shine running at a higher resolution and a locked 30fps IMO.
I think it's because the 360 games you own for life even if you lose Gold. So they'd probably don't want people just signing up for a free trial and nabbing the games

So I recently upgraded my 10 year old Sharp 46" LCD to a 55" Vizio M series 4k with HDR and Im just floored playing vanilla ps4 Battlefield 1. I hope to be able to get a One X soon. I've been slowly getting all my multi platforms on the One in anticipation this season. COD WW2 has a dreadful resolution on a one, but its actually a fun game to play. Battlefield 1 is just in another league. I'll probably pickup Battlefront 2 just for the eye candy now.

Everyone needs to max out thier downloads each month so comcast realizes 1 TB is not enough.
I have intentionally been using 90-95% of my comcast 1 TB for the last 4 months straight.
I have 168gb left for this month. Going to get a bunch of game pass games tonight, then do the 77gb quantum break patch tomorrow.

I'm having an issue with my 1x
I test my internet connection and it works. However it's not signed into live for some reason. Then it just stays stuck and doesn't connect to live.
I do have live and my internet is working fine.
The closest I got it to work was being online with the X1X but not signed into my account.
It does show in Network status : NAT type: Unavailable

hold power button for 10secs to power off the X, then plug out the power cable for 10secs to reset power, plug the power cable back in and power on the X, see it that fixes it?

My Xbone exhibits the same issue on occasion. But this is because I use an ancient router on my network and when it's being "packet thrashed" from lots of downloads hammering seperate ports, it somehow halts the Xbone from sending what it has to to get connected to XBL. In my instance, it's the router that's the cause.
I resolve my issue with my connection to XBL by pausing high bandwidth application/devices on my network or, alternatively, by unplugging the ethernet cable from my Xbone and plugging it back in (or on the router). Restarting my router also resolves the issue 100% of the time.

I pay these pricks $50 extra a month on top of my service for unlimited use. $134 a month for 300Mbps connection unlimited bandwidth.
Guys above with issues if you can get better equipment. I use a netgear night hawk all wired gigabit network 2 Xbox one X's and tons of other systems every system runs trouble free. Buy good gear.
