New Ridge Racer Vita trailer

The 30 fps haven't been confirmed anywhere. The TGS demo was 30 fps (and lower) but at that point in time the game had been only like 5 months in development.

Why are you doing this?!

Anyone expecting them to fix the framerate before release is only setting themselves up for disappointment. This is Scamco we're talking about, after all.

played it on the ip4s, it is 60fps smooth.
I'm playing it on my 4s too and I have to agree with Dark on this one, it's not even a solid 30 let alone a smooth 60fps.

Awesome. Day one purchase. Sold.

EDIT: 30fps????????????????????????????????????????????????

Forget that, nevermind :(

Wait dude, really? :/

I would like a "zone mode" with ultra smooth visuals like the E3 demo and ultra long lights blur.

There's no reason for this to be 30fps. The graphics aren't even that good to justify it. Is this done by the same team that did the 3DS version?

No, it's just apparently development for the game started earlier this year.

Day One! this is a must have with my Vita... RR was the first game I played on my Playstation... it was the first game I played on my PSP... and it will be the first game I play on my Vita...

Of course, Wipeout will be the second.

I'll raise you First game on PSone,PS2,PSP,360 and perhaps first game on my PS3 (If I ever decide to buy one.). Definitely my first game on Vita, without a doubt.

Bleh, the 3DS I could sort of understand, but really? The Vita version too? Not buying at 30 fps. Already caved once with 3DS but I won't do that again.

oh FFS Scamco!! why is this not running at 60fps? heck, with those graphics it should run at 120 fps without breaking a sweat. whats your excuse namco?

Tbh the new hated RR Unbounded doesn't look too bad next to this.

You can see Namco burnt out on RR somewhere on 6.

Jesus - what an awful trailer - it half looks like the PSP game with slow down added. :lol

Played this at TGS - it had frame rate issues but the thing looked like the PS3 version but with an added natty DOF effect.

This trailer isn't doing the game any favours AT ALL.

Doesn't even look like 30 fps. Bland, flat visuals that do not even remotely signify the radical shift for the series that Cellius promised. This will probably be the biggest disappointment of the Vita launch (though Katamari also seems to be fighting for that title). WTF is wrong with you, Namco-Bandai? :-|

Likely a day one but the game continues to look like shit. Its obviously rushed to meet the Japanese launch period, the tracks are same old as well.

Maybe the western version can get some optimization but I'm not too optimistic.

Looks like ass. Those low-res screens floating around made it look deceptively impressive, but this is one of the most bland games I've seen in a while. Definitely a far cry from Ridge Racer PSP, which blew my mind at the time.

Ridge Racer for PSP was a staggeringly impressive showcase at the time, and it held up favorably compared to its nearest rival Wipeout Pure. Now it seems Wipout 2048 will eat this alive when Vita launches in the West.

minus the frame rate issue the game looks in the PS3 range + DOF effect , again - this is a terrible trailer.

RR 3DS was such so disappointing and it doesn't look like this is getting the treatment RR deserves. I usually pick up a RR game on or around console launch because there is not much to choose from, unfortunately for Namco it looks like rest of the Vita's line up will be stronger than their offering this time.
