Pushmo/Pullblox |OT| of pushing, pulling and QR codes

You're very close to unlocking it (at #109), bar getting stuck somewhere (as I did on #107).
Of course, if you do get stuck, you can always just skip it. :p That's what I did (got stuck on #107, skipped it for a bit so I could unlock the larger levels first, and came back to it later). Depends if you want to beat the puzzles or unlock the extra stuff for user-made levels more, I suppose.
107, eh?

Still can't beat puzzle 180, and I refuse to skip it. Fuck you glowing start button!

But I have no idea what to do, there's probably one tiny thing I'm missing, but I'm not seeing it yet :(

Just got to world 9.
A whole world of NES sprites and NES-style chiptunes. The Challenge World 4 headaches were totally worth it.

Every time I press the reset button I say "Now's not the time to be dead" in my head.

This game is great.

Oh, #107 was so good. I don't want to make anyone feel bad about themselves, but it only took me a couple of minutes to solve.

Here you guys go. It's of moderate difficulty. Enjoy! (you may experience some slowdown).
Please don't try to break it -___-

you designed your level with tons of ladders that didnt need to be used at all. took about 1 and a half minutes tops.
its a beautiful looking level tho. :)
and yes....there was slowdown. first time ive ever seen it.

noooo lol I tried to counteract there being a lot of ladders. I'll fix it on yoshi 2.0

I'm curious to see how you took advantage of the ladder though..hmmm

-pull purple out all the way
-pull black out all the way
-pull out the pink switch and hit it
-go into the blue upside down ladder
-while on the "roof" hit the white switch
-jump down, pull the black section surrounding the flag twice
-jump in the hole, pull the flag block once
-push the black wall surrounding the flag all the way in
-jump down to the blue ladder again.
-jump off the roof, land on the flag.

Ahhh haha there's too many solutions because of the ladders seems that simpler is better in the case of making one solution.

thats what ive found. or you cant stack ladders above or below each other without proper color coding.

aside from that i just like jumping from high places and tried my luck.

I made my first 32x32 puzzle today! I based it around pixel art I did of one of my characters.
Theres two variations because I stumbled upon an idea I kinda liked while making the first one but it would have completely ruined the solution

I think they're both pretty simple and straight forward (B moreso than A)

hey gaf. i got about 562 or so different pictures of puzzles. some of the pics have more than 1 level on them. should i just upload the gallery link here or post the pics?

hahahahah.
that fucking green ladder in A.....threw me right to the beginning.
thank God for rewind. good show. it always seemed like i was out of options, then one showed up.

I can add either to the collection post that is linked in the OP if you want

heres the link: http://www.abload.de/gallery.php?key=qKgqHUQG

i can also do it like this(it would take up about 3 separate posts):

...but i fear it would clog the thread.

Here's a really nice write up from Siliconera about the game for anyone who is interested or on the fence:http://www.siliconera.com/2011/12/10/pushmo-playtest-no-need-to-shove-theres-plenty-of-puzzles-here/

This part about the use of 3d explains better what I was trying to say before:
Intelligent Systems came up with a smart use for 3D in Pushmo, too. Since the various blocks are of different colours, you’ll always be able to tell them apart from one another. However, as you can probably tell from the screenshots, when you’ve got several blocks layered one on top of the other in complex shapes, it takes a little concentration to understand how they’re arranged and how much space there is between them. I tried playing puzzles with 3D turned off, and while it’s certainly doable, turning the 3D on immediately throws everything into perspective and makes it easier to understand where each block is in 3D space. Aside from experimenting with the 3D slider in some of the early puzzles for this playtest, I never turned 3D off.

Picked it up this weekend based on recommendation from my friend. The first set of puzzles was a chore to get through, but I'm on the third set now and the game is really picking up. Very clever concept and I can already see how crazy it can get.

Going to go a little deeper in single player before downloading user created puzzles, but can't wait to try some of the ones you guys have been posting. The sprite stuff looks great!

There is a huge "what the hell how did this get in here" surprise in one of the later murals blocks. Not even the general theme can prepare you for that level.

Of all the goddamn Zelda bosses!

Holy shit it's amazing. Cute and addictive. Everything good about Nintendo games in one small package. And looks like it's got a load of content?
I'm on the 4th set of puzzles now, and it's starting to get my brain into gear.

This is right up there with the best Nintendo first-/second-party downloadables like Boxlife, Pictobits, and Fluidity. Anybody who likes good games and has a 3DS really ought to buy it.

That reminds me, I really hope the 3ds sees its own artstyle series. A consistent release of visually striking, simple, affordable download titles. I loved the artstyle series.

Man, I love it when I find threads like this on GAF. Haven't played my 3DS in forever, and this convinced me to pull it out again. Loving it!

Stumped again

Trouble with #102

-pull the big pink piece all the way out
-pull the lower white one two spaces out
-from there side-pull the pink piece two spaces inside
-pull the blue piece one space out
-jump to the blue switch, use the red ladder and you're almost there!

I got it and played it a little. the intro was quite tedious but a nice concept. This unfortunately will fall by the wayside until I'm good and done with the mario games though.

It gets badass later in the game with the larger puzzles, pull-switches, portal-esque ladder links etc. I haven't even looked at any QR codes yet, just been enjoying the single player... its only only flaw is the long tutorial worlds, but even then, every other level in those teaches you something essential and each level only takes a few seconds. Really pleasantly surprising title! It'd be on my GOTY list too, such a great, simple concept.

So I bought this Saturday even though I was planning to wait until this Friday. I love this game. I think I'm on number 62 at the moment. Some of the puzzles are fairly easy (really easy at the start) but some are simply tricky instead of hard. You'll have some that look like they'll be really hard but then the actual path you have to take is fairly simple and you can make it harder on yourself by not taking a good look at the overal structure. Haven't messed with the studio section yet but I like how it can give you premade designs that can mess with. Going to go through all the puzzles before I mess with any user created ones though.

I'm really glad this was my first eShop purchase and I like others would recommend it to everyone that can access the show and has money to spend in it.
