Yay Swap Note, Mighty Switch Force, and Pushmo (held off on buying this until after classes were done :p) AND I got an A in the class I most desperately wanted an A in :D

Holy shit. Mighty Switch Force is almost 200 MB (around 1600 blocks) in size. Looks like I'll have to upgrade the SD card earlier than I thought.

If I send a note to someone who hasn't downloaded the app yet, will they get it when they install it and turn it on?

alright, confirming that you can send notes without the person having the software yet. i just got 7 from different people after installing it.

edit: also I RECEIVED MESSAGES FROM FRIDAY. IN THE FUTURE.

Only thing I don't like so far is that the text in the background layer is "fuzzy" in 3D mode. The popout lines are crisp.

Gonna play around with this for a while.

Very good to hear.

Nikki seems to have more freedom with images than I have. Whenever I insert an image it's stuck to the right side, and cropped. :(

So, is Switch Force actually a new game or just a remastered Flip Champs?

It's a completely new game. I'm guessing you haven't seen any of the trailers/screens? There's another Mighty game on DSiWare too (Mighty Milky Way) - again, completely different game.

Adjust the 3D can fix this

Yeah, but then the pop out lines become fuzzy.
Setting it real low makes both close to crisp but at that point I may as well make it 2D.

Cute program, but makes me want want Flipnote more.
Seems like Flipnote 3D could be this all of this app and more.

It's funny how 3ds has a bigger size limit than the Wii and the Wii takes SD cards too.

That begins to answer what kind of file sizes we can expect out of the eShop. I do wonder if the eShop gives you some warning though before you purchase it in case you are low on space. Anyone getting the game, but haven't bought it yet, willing to fill up their SD card with just regular files stuff so that you just have a few megs left to test it out?

So, I'm playing Mighty Switch Force right now and I just played the first level. It doesn't seem like a Metroid game and it doesn't seem like a Contra or Gunstar Heroes game. It really plays more like Mega Man. It's a stage based platformer in which you can only shoot forward (at least so far). You go jumping around the stage, shooting robot things, and capturing the escaped prisoner girls around the stage. The main flip mechanic is the way you can make platform blocks pop in and out of the background (by pressing A or L or R) so you can jump on them. It makes for some pretty interesting platforming.

Before you download anything from the eShop it tells you how many blocks and how much credit you have before and after the download, so I doubt it will let you buy something that won't fit.

Starting Incident 4 these levels become very smartly designed and really challenging to hit the Par Times, you need to be practically flawless to get the time. 1 hour spent already up to Incident 5 including "Perfect Runs". Good job old boy.

Yeah I noticed that also. Gonna have to upgrade soon.

Is it easy to transfer all content onto a new SD card?

Parental controls?
"Sorry kid, you can't have fun with this feature of your system because the world is full of immature little boys masquerading as men."

Seems this is friends-only for StreetPass too though, so no worries.

Incidentally, is anyone still laboring under the misunderstanding that this is some sort of instant messaging app?

I've been sending and receiving notes for like two hours. It's way more fun than an IM app.

Oh, there's 6 more now.

Yeah, I hear you. I'd much rather have this too. I've just been rolling my eyes for far too long over misunderstandings about what Swapnote was actually all about.

The Zelda Save Data Update Channel is up in North America. It's funny that they ripped resources from Animal Crossing: City Folk to make it, lol.

Learning that the internet is a bad place is a good lesson for any child.

Holy crap! Nintendo are finally learning! Resident Evil Revelations now has a game page up on the EU eShop, WITH S3D SCREENSHOTS!!! (yes, finally! An eShop page with actual 3D screenshots, hallefuckinglulia!)

There's a nice series of trailers of upcoming 3DS downloads as well :D

Really good stuff, Mutant Mudds looks amazing. I actually think it's going to be another A title.
