Seriously though, I was thinking more selling the localization/dubs or whatever it was that needed to be done. Like with Lunar, GameArts, and Xseed.

I'm happy we're getting Gungnir. I'd be even happier to get Growlanser IV. I'm happiest that there seems to be a good number of JRPG's coming to the US this calendar year that are outside the big name stuff like Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. And I hope Atlus continues bringing us stuff like that even though it's a risk and I'll keep doing my best to support them with my wallet.

I've had a semi-interest in Gungnir because I like ST!NG's art and have always been interested in the Dept. Heaven series, but nver got to try one. I've always heard good things about Growlanser, but could never find any decent info/keep getting sidetracked during research. The games look incredibly dated, but that's what makes the game all the more interesting to me. Some care to help me out here?
lol, true enough. Didn't even see the boxart complaint. Meh, whatever. I'm just happy that we're closer to confirmation on actually getting it.

Including English VA would likely be too costly to make sense for Atlus, considering the large amount of voice acting in Growlanser IV and the small number of people who will buy this. I'm just happy to see it get officially translated.
Then I'll just have to put it on a "maybe" list, as that would push me towards a purchase to try a series I haven't before.

You should give it a shot. It's a great place to start, one of the best games in the series. It contains refinements to all of the elements that made the 1st one great, and the 2nd and 3rd entries interesting, in spite of their flaws. I think you'd like it quite a bit.
Has the VA thing been confirmed or are we all just making rampant speculation based on price point?

(I'd much rather have Japanese VA than budget English VA. Both is best of course, but Atlus doesn't seem to like doing that)
