Already ordered Hot Shots Golf and now I am deciding between wipeout and Uncharted. Uncharted is a bit more expensive but is it worth it?
My girlfriend wants Uncharted, but she'll like Rayman I'm sure. It's gonna look AMAZING on that screen. Crystal clear sprites and crisp edges in native res. ahhhh

If you were thinking in buying the 3G version it means you wanted to at least try the 3G once, right? So what's the problem in paying $15 for one month?
Not telling you what to buy of course, just asking out of curiosity.
You need to use your own $$$ to activate it for one month first ($15 ?).
Note that during that month, you can also access the AT&T WiFi Hotspots (anywhere) for free.
It has been the top selling launch game on Amazon since the beginning, so I don't think your plea will work.

I keep flip-flopping for Uncharted. On one hand, I want to see it. OTOH, I think it's not worth $50. I'd rather import something else from Japan.

GameStop just texted my phone saying Uncharted is available for pickup. Does that mean if I don't get it in the next 48 hours I am not guaranteed a copy? I don't understand.
mine should be here tomorrow morning. i think others will as well though. i'm betting east coast guys will get theirs first since the delivery schedule would start 2-3 hours before us in the west.

Also got a text message about 20 minutes ago for Uncharted. Have no plans on picking it up for another 2 weeks.
This is a pretty sick move on Sony's part. Get the games out there early, have people buy the games for no reason other than to stare at them for a week and try to bait them into buying a FEB bundle they would have no interest in otherwise, just for the sake of playing Wipeout or Uncharted early. Slick.

games like YS and Valkyria Chronicles 2 should play perfectly on the Vita right? There won't any resolution issues like with the 3DS? Any news of FF Type 0 making its way to the U.S.?

1. PSP games will play fine. You can map different buttons to second analog stick + turn on some filtering.
2. Type-0 will make it across as a Vita title. That much is given. The question is when.
Not sure which resolution issues you're referring to, but PSV is exactly four times the PSP's res, so every game has 'perfect' per pixel mapping, no scaling artifacts etc.
For me it's just too soon after playing 3. I can wait until it drops some.
Uncharted 1 wasn't very varied locations. That wasn't a bad thing
Yes, if it's $40, then I probably don't mind.

From what I've seen, it's clear that it won't be quite as er...ambitious as the Naughty Dog games. I'm not expecting it to wow me like Uncharted 1-3 did. But as long as it nails the Uncharted formula, I think I'll be happy with my purchase. I enjoy the lite-platforming and the combat well enough, and it's got Nolan North.

not really, mainly was interested because of buying an 8gb memory card and Super Stardust Delta anyway, I would pay a bit more for a system that will be worth more if I decide later to sale it

This is an epic deal! It now means that for anyone who wanted Wipeout, the difference in cost between the 3G and WiFi is just £25.
Well pleased with that, the us 3G deal seems to suck eggs by comparison.
