I don't see the problem as long as it has good gameplay and a decent story.
Most Canadians aren't getting their units early. Just a few shipped by Amazon in error. I would say a few hundred at most.

They had Hot Shots Golf. I wasn't going to pick it up because I feel bad paying $40 when people got it for $25. But I'm weak...
They didn't have memory cards. Or at least wouldn't sell me one. Or accessories (screen protector and case).
I guess I'll go back on Friday when UPS arrives with my Vita and try again.

Given it's the game you'd most likely trade in physically and is big as hell it's the one that needed a discount most anyways.

Apparently all the EB Games in the GTA are going to be selling memory cards starting tomorrow.
It's as if they knew that I would be getting my Vita tomorrow... How thoughtful of them.

Sony has no money and no wiggleroom. My guess is unlikely before the start of December personally. Regardless of how it does.

I know I'm getting Rayman Origins but not sure what other game.Maybe I'll get some PSP games from the store.
Having finished both Uncharted 3 and Uncharted GA within the last week, I can absolutely say that Uncharted GA is worth every penny. I actually enjoyed the latter more than Uncharted 3. I think the inclusion of the motion-aided aiming and the touch screen features make the Vita version a more enjoyable and varied game than the PS3 version.
I can't say enough about how much I like my Vita. I own a 3DS also and vastly prefer the Vita to it. I bought the Japanese 3G version a couple of days after launch and have not regretted it. The screen is gorgeous, the weight and size is perfect, the dual analog sticks are great, and the touch screens really do add a lot of features to games that we haven't thought of before. Does it replace a smart phone? No, but it is a solid piece of hardware that has tremendous potential. I actually find myself preferring to play the Vita over my PS3 most of the time.
If you are on the fence about it, get over it and go pick one up. The future is bright!

I think the lack of multiplayer on the vita version is a HUGE mistake. Hopefully Bend patches it in.
