This was my first time installing a screen protector, and it came out great. Save for one damn tiny speck of dust at the very bottom of the screen. Like 1/64 of an inch up. I'm going to live with it for a bit.
are you being sarcastic? that commercial is horrible
Damn, like on the PS3? I was hoping it'd be different this time around.
I can't copy Ys 1&2 Chronicles over on my US Vita. Don't know if anyone else has had issues.
It's been sort of hit or miss on the copying. I would advise new users to have the PS3 on, plug the Vita USB cable in, and then turn on the manager in the Vita when it starts to bounce. As soon as the cable is plugged in your PS3 will auto detect it and tell the Vita to connect. You will know how this works when you see it.
Legend of Heroes and Ys Seven copied just fine though.
Vita has something in common with the portables in this pic.
Let me know how you get on with that all ways wanted it but I didnt own xbox 1 or psp so I missed out on it...Went on PSN last night to pick some random PSP game to see how it works on the Vita. Bought Warriors. Anyone have any thoughts on this? I don't have mine until the 22nd.
Just got mine, one stuck pixel right in the middle just above center.
If your PS3 download speeds are slow, then you're doing it wrong. I average speeds greater than 1MB/s whether I'm wired or wireless, and I live in a populated residential area. Your slow speeds aren't the PSN's fault.
Woo-hoo! Screen protector applied with no disasters. Love how they used the Vita's analog stick and buttons as a guide to help angle the film.
Alcohol swabs are great for both prepping a screen for a protective covering as well as cleaning it after application. My $0.02.
Sony says it's acceptable that it has one to three dead pixels. So looks like I'm going to have to get used to it. I'm sure I won't notice it over time.

I thought that too but I still fucked up the first one. The second one is a little messed up in the corner but I'll live with it. I can never put these on perfect

Held power for ~20 seconds. Worked, but lost my progress. This better be a software and not a hardware problem...
E: Thanks for the pro-tips. Warning to everyone - do a quicksave over sleep mode whenever possible.
I've went through all the tips and recommendations to fix it and nothing has ever changed. I don't get that problem anywhere else. I've just learned to except it since I rarely download anything on there.

I will never understand this.
Not sure if helps, but I opened these ports on my airport, and I always max my 24Mbps connection, TCP: 80, 443, 5223 and UDP: 3478, 3479.

It is weird that gamestop did not text me to pick up my Vita, I pre ordered the FEB. Hope I can still pick it up today, or I will be one angry person.
No, it can be professionally cleaned/restored.Do you guys keep the plastic on your new couches?
People say Frys have them for sale.Is the First Edition Bundle actually purchaseable? I might buy one today if that's the case...
I can see it not happening.
You go online/offline so frequently with the vita that the notifications would drive ps3 users crazy.

Are they in Canada?
I've had a Vita pre-ordered for weeks and I've been interested in it from the minute I heard NGP... what exactly are you going on about?of course you won't, you don't want a vita, but you think is worthy of your time to enter the PSVita thread and bitch a people that do.
That's a completely logical way to operate.
Picked up my FEB+ HSG this morning, as I conveniently had the day off from work. I am thoroughly impressed with the system so far. I just wish more of the psp games were transferrable without going through a ps3, as mine's still yellow-lighted. I still have my Go for those and ps1 games, at least though.
What's the recommendation on screen protectors though? Are the Sony brand ones decent? Or should I just grab some Hori?

Uh...My Vita won't wake up. Anyone have issues with theirs yet? This is highly disturbing...
I always buy two packs.
Honestly, here's my method.
1. Go into the bathroom and run the shower at full blast (hot water).
2. Steam up the room.
3. Wipe down the device with micro-fiber.
4. Ready the protective film and put it on fast and decisively. Hemming and hawing is what screws things up.
5. Rub out air bubbles with cotton swab or micro-fiber cloth.
I've gotten so good at this because I've fouled numerous devices up in the past.
need help! when ever i go to link my account it says there is an update and when i hit ok it takes me back to the page asking if i have an account. How to update it???
