Holy shit, that sucks. Guess I'm lucky they just didn't know what the hell was going on.
I bought a brand new PS3 there (new model), and when I plugged it in it sounded like a vacuum cleaner. Returning it the same day was awful.
"I'd like to return this. It's way too loud"
(old woman taking return) "There's nothing we can do about that. They're all the same volume."
(at this point we go back and forth for five minutes until she realizes I'm taking about system noise, not volume from the TV).
"Oh, let me get someone to test it then." *takes the PS3 away, comes back 10 minutes later*
"The PS3 works fine sir."
"I know that, but it's extremely loud...the system itself is very loud..."
"Well don't place it on a carpet. But it works fine sir. Most systems have a fan inside them running at all times."
I had to argue with this lady until she finally gave me a new system, which guess what, isn't extremely loud. I hate BB so much.

I don't think they will patch this, seems like a conscious design choice. It's already better than it was before Vita was out in Japan, people were assuming you would have to format memory card as well.
It's not total crap. The game is overpriced. If it were $9.99/$14.99 it would easier to swallow.. Little Deviants is a glorified tech demo, it's a collection of mini games, and decent use of the PSVita's AR.

To further expand on how unintrusive it is....
That screen there (as you can see, my test track was an Ape Escape OST one), you hit the PS button to get there to basically free you from the music app. From there you can go on and do anything. I took that very shot about 4 minutes ago and seamlessly went into Content Manager, which then opened the photo manager, and then copied without issues. I even took the screenshot and the music never faltered.
So seamless and fast.
AND THE SCREENSHOT IS COMPRESSED BADLY. LOOK MUCH BETTER ON THE VITA ITSELF
What? How can they do that?

So people know, you can do party chat in HSG and Wipeout as those are the 2 games I've tested. The built in mic seems to work really good for what it is as it picks up noise fairly well even from a decent distance from your face. The BT support is flawless. The only thing that bothers me is that I have to manually connect it via the settings/network/BT option every time I turn it on. Other than that, chat works great and so does text chat for that matter. Way better than PS3 or any other console hands down.

If it doesn't come by 7pm, very slim chance you'll get it today. It depends though. I wouldn't get worried until 6:30 or so.

Anyone know if Amazon is using UPS or USPS for delivery for the Launch Bundles (next week)? I've had them use both for things I've ordered. With UPS I always have to wait until their driver gets back at 8pm to pick up my package as I'm at work when they are out. Rather USPS put it in my box.

You went right to the store and just hit the little redeem key bubble? It worked instantly for me. No caps or anything just like PS3. I redeemed both HSG and Wipeout without hitch.

Pretty much this. I still have a $100 gift card that I've had for years and still haven't spent it. I was going to spend it on Vita stuff, but thanks to them not having a sale, I gotta buy stuff at Target and TRU. One of these years I'll actually get to use that gift card...
Your UPS man must have a heavy route today... Out for delivery around 6am/7am translates to 11:30am-1:30pm for me.

Are you able to transfer save games from card to card? Lets say i download hot shots on a 4gb card, later on get a 32gb and i want to use that, can i transfer the saves?

I hit 4 different stores and couldn't find a single screen protector in stock. I'm not happy about it, but it looks like I might have to suck it up and go to Gamestop since one like 6 miles from my house seems to have them in stock.

Using the content manager, yes. You will have to go either PSV to PS3/PC and then back when you get the other card in. It's a little hassle but not that bad.
Rhythm Heaven is a Nintendo franchise.
That said, the original music game in Parappa may return on Vita. The creator felt the platform could offer them an outlet that wasn't previously possible.

That's not that great of a deal. The Starter Kit is normally $40 anyway. You'd be better off getting the Starter Kit at TRU and get $10 off it.

Grrrrr...so I was buying a bunch of games off of PSN and my credit card flagged for security threat. Called the credit card company and got that cleared up (it was giving me an error about an invalid credit card), but now when I go to buy anything, it just fails to purchase it and says it lost the connection to the server. However, I am downloading games right now from PSN (the ones I managed to purchase before the card was flagged) and I can pull up the store and browse it, so I know the connection is good. I've closed out the store and restarted it and no go. I guess I might try rebooting the Vita, but I don't want to in the middle of the downloads I currently have going.

Can't wait. Lumines and Super Stardust are must-haves for me. Shame l can't buy Ultimate Ghosts and Goblins in the Euro store.
This also expands on how horrific the jpg compression of the screenshots is.

If your Best Buy sells gift cards (most do) to other stores, use the BB gift card to buy one for $100. They'll look at you funny, but it works.
