Just out of curiosity how many Vita games will fit on a 8 GB stick? I really want to download virtually everything but not inclined to fork over 99 for the 32 GB.

Someone will probably make a sony memory to sd card adapter so you can use regular sd cards. I wouldn't be surprised if companies are already in the process of making them.
I think that's the "standard" Hotshot Golf lobbies ? A little like PS Home.

Depends on the game of course, but that's probably good for three games comfortably. I think I'm going to go with the 16GB card when I finally buy one, but haven't ruled out just grabbing the 32.

In all honesty, I assume the CAGers are getting themselves all worked up about nothing, as they frequently do. It could very well be those are listed as "Not Sold in Stores" because they aren't on the store shelves yet. I dunno, I'll try my luck on Sunday, and if they don't have stuff in store I'll go to Wal-Mart. Best Buy price matching this deal is going to be extremely YMMV as they've updated their PM policy to no longer include "free" items. For me I know it's a 100% no go since my Best Buy is horrible about basically everything.
Played about 5 matches of Marvel last night. There was stutter-y lag that made it hard to do simple combos. It's also pretty tough to find a player match; I only got matched with fight request in training mode. Hopefully it gets better with more people though. I'm in the US and set it to find the same region. I don't get laggy games on the 360 version so something's weird.

Uncharted has a DCPI number --- this is like Target's inventory numbering system, which is basically being used to identify what games Target stores will and will not carry.

Not sure if this has been answered but is it possible to get a downloadable copy of a game I purchased in a store? That way I don't have to lug around a bunch of game cards.
Guys, don't forget that the Vita isn't even "officially" released yet. Only a relative handful of people have it so of course "near" won't be as populated any it will be harder to find people playing games, etc.
Even on the 22nd you will still only find the hard-core, day one people.
I don't think that even in the "best" circumstance will you start finding a "ton" of people until a few weeks/months.

Best Buy's website isn't correctly reflecting their Vita game stocks yet, maybe b/c the official launch isn't until next week? I just bought 3 Vita games at my local Best Buy--Lumines was one of them--despite the fact that their URL said my wait would be 3-5 business days. My store appeared to have every game in stock.
I had a coupon for Buy 2, Get One Free on games up to $39.99 (came with my Reward Zone Unlocked promotional mailer), so I landed Lumines, UMvC3, and Hot Shots Golf for the grand total of $84 ($28 per game).

Every other time they've done this sort of deal it'd been online. I'd say it's certain.

Interesting, a bunch of titles got some really "heavy" updates (size-wise), like Hot Shots, UMvC 3 and ModNation Racers.

Nice, not that bad since I can house a lot of games on my PS3 until the 32 GB comes down to a reasonable price. Would have gone for 16GB if they were available.
If I press it just lightly enough to make the L button click down, it won't register. I have to use a little bit more pressure to get it to register. It's annoying because sometimes I'll be holding down the L button and it will stop registering if I'm not using enough pressure.

No, that would hurt Sony's business since people would just rent games and then transfer them over or borrow them from friends.

It's pretty awesome. I don't even have my 3G on, and it's showing guys that are about 6 miles away. Most of the guys I seem to find are in the student housing area down here... I'm just a mile or so away from them.
Apologies if mentioned already, but searching this thread didn't give me anything useful as far as info goes. Has anyone else had any trouble signing up for one of the 3G plans through AT&T? I can enter my debit card info, select a plan, and when I hit accept I get some stupid error and it kicks me back out. Talked to AT&T tech support on the phone, and they're claiming that the 3G service will not be activated until next week. The only problem with that is several people already have 3G up and running. Dunno what the deal is, but it's frustrating the hell out of me.

I'm in the middle of an office park basically an when I checked near at lunch it showed 14 people within 4-8KM. Not bad. It's kinda fun to see what people near you are playing

Wait, so Target isn't going to have Ninja Gaiden as part of the deal? When I stopped by my local store last night, they had a place holder out for the game, although they didn't have any stock in.
Would online retailers try to price match this, or since it is instore only, wouldn't they bother?
Edit: Without a memory card, it ends up being around prices seen now, maybe more.

I figured you could register the game with the UPC code or something online so you could only get 1 downloadable copy per physical version. *shrug* oh well.
Found 22 people this morning on near at my house, which is alread probably half the amount of unique Streetpass encounters I've had on the 3DS since launch. This is at an off campus apartment close to a university.

Quick note...
Go to the main OS... and navigate it by barely touching the screen.
I shit you not I can do stuff before my finger even touches the screen... that is way sensitive.

That's theoretically possible with PSP games (and thus maybe with Vita games), but that would still be a bad business decision since you can't force Vita customers to be connected to the internet. People would use the codes and then pass the cart along to someone else who could then use it in offline mode. That's basically giving away two games for the price of one.

I would really like to stream across Abe's Odysee, I absolutely love that game, but it was not very good on the PSP as you really needed L2/R2 and the custom options were naff.

Yup. Kind of nice since it means screen protectors don't affect the usability of the system.
