Also note that Winter Brawl will be going down in Philly Saturday and Sunday, streamed by Team Sp00ky. I (or someone else) will probably post the thread for that tomorrow). Of course, WGC, being in France, will be starting multiple hours ahead on those days, so if you're up early (US time) you should definitely check out WGC.

Do you know if Spooky will be streaming from own3d?

In case you missed it, Armshouse has been streaming Street Fighter X Tekken casual for the past two days. I saw Fuudo and RF playing earlier today, and I knew Mago showed up later. You can check out the archive here, the for some reason, the videos from today won't load for me, in Opera or Firefox.
Don't forget ozhadou, which is also starting on the 17th and is a Road to Evo event.

Watch out for Dropbears.
Ah, kept hearing about Ozhadou recently, didn't realize it was this weekend as well, crazy.

Basically Twitch.tv has screwed him and Next Level up way too many times, something that should be obvious if you have been following his streams. So he wants to point his middle finger at them.

But ow3nd player is horrible, it hogs system resources with no reason what so ever. I hope Twitch/Gunrun comes through for him so he doesn't switch.

Even though I'm Australian an Ozhadou is on... this is what I'm hyped the most about. Really hope Alione can somehow win the singles tournament for SFIV and get the ticket to come down to Melbourne for Shadowloo Showdown.

Speaking of Shadowloo Showdown, the first announcement of players will be shown off @ some point during Ozhadou. Safe bets on the original 3 from the first SS (Tokido, Mago, Gamerbee), Poongko the previous winner, Humanbomb (Hong Kong qualifier, former Australian), Mr Lizard (Korean qualifier) being in that clip. Curious to see if they pull any surprises...

Anyway back on topic, really looking forward to the Street Figther x Tekken solo tournament Top 8, but AE is going to be damn good here, doesn't the 12 vs 12 Europe against the World match start in like 100 minutes?

stream has started, doors aren't even open yet, I'll go do something for a couple of hours and hopefully catch the 12 v12.

im stuck in Frankfurt, goddamn strike. participating in TAG2 and Mortal Kombat tournaments. IF i can get a new flight to Nice, been stuck in germany for 14 hours now...

For me it depends on the game.

SF4 is an international game so WCG.
Ditto for SC5 given how France was really strong in SC2 .

UMVC3 goes to Winterbrawl.

True, UMVC3 will continue being dominated by Americans so naturally WB is the tourney you want to watch if you're more into that. I'm a SF4 player, but nowadays I'm not that pumped to watch tournaments unless internationals(especially the Japanese) are involved. Knowing that there will be a number of Japanese there and the fact that Europe has a lot of countries that share a strong rivalry with each other, WGC a lot more appealing to me.
