That statement was clarified to mean only Japan.
Ah, shite. Oh, well - here's hoping it gets picked up by someone for EU...

The fact it's a PS2 game only matters to people who've already played it, otherwise it's just another PSV game, it's also the highest rated RPG on PS2, it's quality is established, GD was a new thing. It's a PS2 port. You can buy Gravity Daze for less than that in Japan.

One Piece Pirate Musou (PS3): 9, 9, 9, 9

Does not compute.
Give Europe another chance. It's a new system. People will buy anything, you hear, Atlus?

Is it weird to not care much for EO series, but still enjoy the Wizardry and 7th Dragon games?
I should like EO, but for some reason, I just couldn't get into 1 or 2.
The soundtrack's good.Does not compute.
Also note - that persona price - that better be the price of the physical game and that better come with more than the bog standard packaging that Vita games get because , as stated already, handheld game prices in Japan are already getting way too high as it is.
If it's that price with some nice extras then, fine. If it's that price and it's a one page manual and a card in the box then #shakefist.
The soundtrack's good.

Honest answer: I dunno, man.
They really liked seeing Peach in a one-piece.
So it's going to have a casual mode eh, and the can't wait to see the new classes. Nightseeker and ruin master.
It could've probably used a hardcore mode to go along with it, but I'm sure that normal will still have plenty of challenges.
It can always get harder.
I'd love permadeath for example.

... i'm guessing this is already reviewed in the west but the Japanese adverts make this look like good old fashioned fun.
Anyone with the game already care to comment?
I wouldn't buy it but I think it would be great for a kid.

Maybe Casual Mode means they'll feel free to crank up Normal Mode's difficulty.
now in 3D!
Daisuke Kanada was Hashino's right hand man on his RPGs from Nocturne to Persona before moving to the Trauma Wii games though, I'm pretty excited about this change.Hmmm... EO4. I wonder if I'll actually play it this time. The director of EO4 this time is the guy who directed Trauma Center: Second Opinion, and Trauma Center: New Blood. The music and design staff are mostly the same as the previous 3 games, with the exception of Nizou Yamamoto, who's the art director this time. He's a really well known art director/background artist who has worked on many major Ghibli movies in the past, as well as Hosoda's Girl Who Leaped Through Time movie more recently.
While they're at it, they need to release an Etrian Oddysey compilation for the 3DS. I wasn't able to get the third game before it was out of print.
