We went to to the Monk's Table by Summerhill yesterday after Potted Potter (Which was pretty funny) and it's actually a really good pub. Great food, good selection of imported beer. I would recommend this place for the gaf meetup if there aren't a huge number of us. The place isn't huge.

I was up near the bar talking to Chief about eSports Canada and some guy came to the mic and started talking about Neogaf, Evilore and some other stuff I couldn't make out. I screamed Neogaf in acknowledgement. I'm sure I'll see you guys at the next barcraft. I try to go to every one if possible. I was asking Chief if they would consider doing the GSL again. The Revue cinema ones were pretty fun. They even showed OSL afterwards. Even though I stopped playing SC2 a while ago I'm still an avid spectator.

It's pretty funny for a guy who spends a not-insignificant bundle on political consultants and polling.
"The only poll that counts is on election day" is what people who don't want to report what their own numbers are saying offer in rebuttal to polling that contradicts what they think.
You guys just don't understand. When poll results are given they also provide a margin of error as well as it only being true 19 times out of 20. Whenever a poll goes against Ford it's that 1 time so it doesn't matter.

Yep. I grew up around yonge & dundas in the early 90s and even then it was really grimy. My dad used to take me to game shacks old location and it was the most sketchy place ever

That's for sure. I think that the number of murders in Toronto peaked in 1991. There were more murders back then even though the population was lower.
Toronto is a very safe city these days.

I hate the store itself too. I go there only when Gameshack in the Atruim is sold out of something... Which happened to be this morning.
I wanted Binary Domain for tonight so I wind up at EB on Yonge. I ask for the game. Two clerks start humming and hawing about pre-orders. I say "No, I'm just here to buy the game if you're willing to sell it to me." They make a huge deal about going through a drawer full of BD but each one is pre-ordered so of course they can't part with those. "I'll check in the Eaton Centre" I say. Then one clerk says there might be a copy or two upstairs. With a big sigh he heads off and gets me a copy.
Then comes the protection deal. This - that - the other thing. I say no thank you. "But it's only three dollars!"
I can't think of another store that operates like this. They occupy a massive footprint on prime downtown real estate but trying to vanilla buy something off them is a chore. Seriously, fuck the whole organization. If the industry goes digital then at least we get to see them burn.
