Ok a few things.
1) the PS3/Vita integration is seemless and awesome and works perfectly.
2) Both games online pass work fine
3) The PS3 version is awesome but the Vita version holds up very well. The only gripe I have honestly is the framerate from player intros, but again it doesnt mess up gameplay.
4) Menus are slick, music is good and it mimics the PS3 version exactly.
5) I suck at this game. I havent played since 2010 but man I cant hit, so I switched it to "TIMED" hitting which is better but ill eventually switch it back once I get my timing back.
6) I completely recommend this game to Vita users and if you have a PS3 I say get both, the deal is too good to pass up.

I think that Analog pitching is really great. I felt like I knew exactly why pitches missed, and when I struck a guy out, it felt like I knew why too. Plus, the timing element that I never quite felt with the regular meter pitching wasn't there... And I felt like I knew why I elevated a ball or threw it in the dirt.
I crushed Derek Lowe in my first game... 10 - 0, 18 hits. Gonna have to turn up the difficulty of the opponent batting. I got into a bad spot early in the game but then recouped and shut Cleveland down with the Red Sox.
Presentation stuff is really, really strong.
"A reminder, an extra green line train is available at the Kenmore stop, or also available at the Fenway stop..." and then the announcer went into something about rt 1. I mean, that's really good... because.. .it's true. After Sox games, they run extra trains on the green line from Kenmore and Fenway all night.
The presentation is just so silky smooth, announcing, stadium announcing, angles, etc. Really incredible stuff. This is what videogame presentation should be.

Yeah. Back when I heard the Rogers Centre announcements about what subway stations to go to I freaked out a little. Serious attention to detail.
I'm glad I bought the MLB combo from Amazon. My Best Buy had around 15 copies of the PS3 version, but no Vita version. They only got 4 in, whereas they had around 25 PS3 versions to sell initially. Doesn't help the promo when the game isn't in stock to sell.

For the second year in a row, Jonny Venters doesn't even have a sinker (you know, his main pitch).
Also, Craig Kimbrel has a changeup for whatever reason. Your're lucky to get Kimbrel's fastball up to 97.

Thanks for the info. Basically I have to wait 3-5 fucking days to get my online code. Fucking Sony. Good job asswipes. If you cannot implement a fool proof system for this online pass shit than don't fucking use it. Before this I didn't mind online passes but this makes me hate the fucking idea. I'm 2-5 as the Yankees so far lol, I just couldnt hit but I adjusted some sliders and I'm back in business! One of the games I lost I was up 7-2! I gave up a grand slam and then they tied it in the bottom of the 9th and we ended up going 12 inning where they won it on an error by me

Holy shit! I did not expect this game to cut into my Mass Effect 3 time but RTTS is great. I have been trying improve

Does anyone know how to use a Curveball effectively when its ratings are low (Control 46:Break:41) ?
I cannot hit the strike zone with these pitches at all.

Man, Hosmer's model is spot on in this. I'd like a custom cover of him, too... I looked for a while in that Operation Sports thread, but damn, it's over 80 pages long.
My lord.... the Vita title is amazing. I've popped the PS3 one in and done the 10GB install but had to run out of the house. Brought the Vita with me... haven't set it down. Battery about to die almost 4hrs in; amazing visuals. Some slowdowns when camera pans into crowd close ups but I bet they work on that. The amount of animations built in is staggering, this is what sports fans always wished for in a mobile title. I just hope Madden and NBA 2k follow up w/ jaw droppers.
I've put a couple of hours into the Vita version so far. Wanted to try the PS3 version out but by the time it finished installing, it was time for my wife's TV shows. Started a RttS player and am enjoying quite a bit, though I suck at hitting. Graphics don't bother me too much and I'm sure it'll just get better next year. I've already uploaded my save file to the cloud so I can test out the PS3 version tomorrow.

Played a couple of games on the PS3 last night, and my god, am I rusty. I'm not sold on the pulse pitching yet but I'll give it a decent chance. Loved the variety of hits I saw in the games I played. It was also good to see the outfielders go for a deep ball on the run and it not be an almost automatic catch everytime.
I have never had that happen to me ever.

what scale did you use?
Gonna print out a David Wright cover for a friend of mine.
I printed the PS3 cover at 80% of the file size and the Vita one at 32%.
