Got the Griffin Intellicase, which snaps onto the iPad and has the sleep/wake feature of the Smart Cover. Got it for $49.99 at Best Buy. Definitely cheaper than buying a Smart Cover and a back shell.

Mass Effect 3 - great game, terrible ending. I guess this is where, "Focus on the journey, not the destination. Joy is found not in finishing an activity but in doing it," really applies.
MLB 12: The Show - a yearly staple for me. Love this game.
Assassin's Creed III Pre-order Steelbook - I dropped $5 for a pre-order and got the case. I was hoping there would be a PS3 case-sized version, but that's OK.

Not a lot of titles, mostly shovelware or niche titles from Europe have made their way into Mexican stores, more notably Game Planet and Gamers which are supposed to be related, but I have also seen some in Costco and Sams Club. I got Euro Contact and Flower Sun and Rain new for DS back in 2009 for a measly $50 pesos each, love their big cases and the Contact cover was definitely better than US version. I also have seen R-Type Tactics, Bladestorm PS3 and some other licensed games with the PEGI rating in those stores.

I really don't think Gameplanet and Gamers are related. The prices, sales and products they carry are way too different from each other.
About the bold text: I did the same, hahahah! :D
I have seen a lot of euro DS games here.

Back to the Saint Seiya title, I think if it was going to be an official American release we would have heard from Bandai Namco and the ESRB. I´m probably going to import the Japanese version regardless, it is only $20 more expensive than the PAL version from Play-Asia, and I would rather have my money going to them than to the thieves in GamePlanet. Hell, it is cheaper to order the European version from there and have it shipped to Mexico and you´d probably get the game earlier too.

Hey, those $20 could be spent on another game :p
For now, I would rather pay to Gameplanet: I don't want to deal with credit cards, international orders, shipping costs, weeks of waiting for untracked parcels or Play-Asia (my last order with them wasn't the most positive experience) :p
But your are right, it's a tiny bit cheaper: http://www.play-asia.com/Saint_Seiya_Sanctuary_Battle/paOS-13-71-bp-49-en-70-4lm3.html

I just checked the blu-ray box of the Saint Seiya movies: http://www.play-asia.com/Saint_Seiy...ited_Edition/paOS-13-71-a7-49-en-70-4d3l.html

Why the heck are DVDs/blu-rays so expensive in Japan? I mean, $100 for just 1 volume? :|

(ROT, UFO CATCHER.)

$24.99 for HR. Not bad if I do say so myself.

Can someone fill me in on Evangelion 1.01? Is this stand alone, part of a show, what?

I've been meaning to pick these movies up but they're always so expensive. Found them at Costco for $12.99 each ^^

And that's what I used my $20 PSN card to buy. Hope I end up liking both :)

The new iPad, Metal Bug (Slug :p) model kit, Tyranid Hive Tyrant (winged), W&N Cotman Compact Watercolor set, and Hellboy : Strange Places (Volume 6) :)

Link's Shield. 1:1 replica, handmade from wood and painted. Definitely got some weight to it.

A couple of my best mates gave me this for my birthday last year but I've had renovations going on in my home that prevented me from hanging it on a wall until now. Looks awesome, cheers lads!

That is awesome!

Some things that pop up on this threat are sweet all round.

Do you guys them mailed to you if you are subscribed? Or do you have to pick it up at a comic book store or whatever

I'm thinking of subscribing to the batman comics but I dunno how it exactly works

I pick them up locally (Australia) so can't give you any info about subs, we pay over over cover price as it is.

My favorite car, and the first car I plan on buying brand new off a lot. Hopefully within the next year or so, or shortly after I graduate from college. Been saving for one of these bad boys since I got my first job at 16. Five years later the dream lives on.

Congrats man!

Coors Light in a aluminum bottle. I put it in the freezer for around 1 hour and it was ice cold and delicious.

Bagels from the local Jewish food store. The best I have ever tasted.

Can you still get them new? Went out of production last year.

Picked up The Witcher 2 Collector's Edition for about $30 US dollars,if I had to a currency conversion and also got a free copy of the South African version of GamesTM.

Since my old gaming/tv/reading chair had gotten a bit old and the stuffing was gone and the fabric all worn out, I decided to replace it with a similar one, but this time in leather.
Was definitely worth it, so comfortable and I have always loved the design. Still not the Barcelona chair I want, but I need a light chair I can easily move around so this is perfect. <3

Dark frame with dark brown leather. :)

You may have a hard time finding a new one considering they are discontinued.

is tokyo extreme racer really as good as everyone says?

It is indeed! I own most of the Japanese version of the series (including this one, which is Shutokou Battle 0) but fancied playing the PAL one since it's been a while from I last played any of the games. If it hooks you, you'll be addicted for ages!

AE2012 Mook by Enterbrain: Updated hit boxes and frame data from what I can tell. Almost 300 pages full of content.

SFxT Mook by SoftBank Creative: Terrible waste of money with no frame data. Not sure why Enterbrain didn't do this one. Looks like fighters just gotta deal with Bradyguide errors and correct them on their own.
