This was actually pretty amusing to me:
Now as you may know, Katniss, the main character in the book and film, was described as having "straight black hair" and "olive skin." It's a post-apocalyptic world, so she could be a mix of things, but some pictured a Native American.

Last I heard, "olive skin" is usually found around the Mediterranean.

There's a big difference between that girl saying she didn't picture the character as black, and that mouth-breathing, knuckle-dragging mongoloid using the n-word at the end.

This reminds me of the time when they cast jessica alba as sue storm and famous old comic writer John Bryne posted something to the affect of "Why did they turn sue storm into a puerto rican" on his forum.

I am kind of pissed that they don´t explain her motivation for helping Katniss, but i guess i should blame the book for that.

It is funny how some people can warp skin toes to mean something completely different. Clearly whites encompass every color of the rainbow! Dark brown? Pfft... They must be Italian or Middle Eastern! There is no way dark brown skin would refer to black people! I mean, they are black, not brown. It is in the name!

Some of the people who have posted in this thread (most of whom got banned) fucking sicken me. I have long known there was a defense force for racism on gaf, but it never ceases to shock me when it comes out full force.
