Maybe if the characters looked twice as old as they did, then it'd be more an issue of getting an M rather than chasing everyone away and possibly coming under fire.

this isn't just regular ol' "sexy" we're dealing with here.


my personal moral stance on the animated/drawn depiction of minors may be indifference (no exploitation involved), but that doesn't make it socially acceptable

lol the hell did i just watch? some little character can cut planets? another one made a black hole that ate the planets, even the planet she was on? then turns the black hole into some pink sphere of energy to destroy half the galaxy because of one enemy?

second game is ok? i guess. the third one could be good.

Looking forward to play legasista and Witch, but I wanted CE for them, I hope at least they bring here the jap CE of Witch.

Have you ever played any of the Disgaea series games, Soul Nomad, or Makai Kingdom? Stuff like that happens everyday lol.

Honestly I wish NIS would make some giant mecha SRPG in the style of Super Robot Wars, except with their on unique style/ Tenpei Sato doing the soundtrack. Would be amazing.

she isn't even human (she supposed to be some kind of goddess) there is no way she is a "young girls".

I don't care about it one way or the other.

But there's no way in hell a game was going to be allowed here where you clean bathing underage girls while they're in suggestive poses.

I don't know about the censorship. I don't think it's going to make more people buy it. The people who complain about that kind of stuff were probably never going to buy this game anyway. So censoring is probably just negative to the fan base.

I don't know. Maybe I'm wrong.

I find the accusations of pedophilia unfair. I play a lot of games with younger looking characters and it never makes me attracted to children.

Me too. I've been importing a lot lately too so it hurts. But whatever I guess. I know I'll be there day one for LE if they have it. I am also skipping digital-only Legasista.

Bah, I was going to seriously cut down on game shopping, but I love my niche JRPGs! Probably will skip Legasista since it's digital-only, but I'll by the other two Day One.

So, are they just going to chop out a game mechanic completely out of the game now? People keep regulating it to "bath scene" but it was a game mechanic that saw you raise the stats of your party when they fight.

Going to need some clarification on what they intend to do here.

As much as I agree with you in principle, this game could literally not be released here in its original state. There is no way it would get past ESRB, quite possibly not even with AO.

If it weren't for the "bathing" scenes, then I'd definitely buy it because it looks like it has fantastic combat. Over-the-top Disgaea style million damage combos, except in 3d. Sounds awesome. But as it is, I don't think I'd be able to play it around family.. or friends... or really in front of anyone :S

This game does push it a bit far imo.

I won't link the pics or trailer but check for yourself on Andriasang or youtube.

Bought, bought, and bought. One bright, sunny day I will have time to play these games, and Atelier Rorona, and 100% Hyperdimenision Neptuna, and get deeper into Mk2, and finish Ar Tonelico Qoga, and dig deeper into Wizardry, and, et cetera, and so on. gahhh!

So I went to look on andriasang for that bath scene since you guys were calling it sickening and.... that shit was laughable more than anything, tacky sure, but nothing sickening as far as I'm concerned.
I understand how that could raise problems in the west though.

I'm not sure if I'm looking at the same thing you're talking about, but this isn't as bad as people are making it out to be.


Seeing this, I don't think the ESRB would be AO-ing it as suggested by another poster earlier. It's not too far from some of the things in Neptunia, and that's M.

I don't know. I'll never understand the mindset of people who cry "pedophilia" on this stuff I guess.
