They need to fix the damn friends list!

I have close to 100 friends, and it doesn't consistently stay on throughout every single game. I understand that some games force it OFF (which is annoying enough), but if the game allows friends lists to be ON, then I would like my friends list to be up to date whenever I move over to the friends app.

As it stands now, every single time I go into the friends app it has to log back in with an annoying wait screen, then my friends list seemingly refreshes for ages and never settles...I see friends cycling on and offline and it is VERY annoying.

Fix this SHIT!

I should also be able to see friends that are active on the Vita on my PS3. How the hell can the Vita be a connected device with so many bugs and problems? PSN is not a seamless service across multiple devices.

Good news (I think?) I just upgraded to the new firmware and for now my friends list is more stable and I can see see people who are playing the Vita while logged into my PS3.

Yeah sorry I should've said. Before the update turning off system music only disabled the music in the dash, the Store and Near still played music. But now, no more music in either of those apps either. Finally.

Hmm testing it with my own Japanese and European PS3 accounts still doesn't show my American Vita account as online. Just shows my account in the friends list as a forever spinning avatar icon and not even online. Which is what it did before. Though one of my friends who it says is playing Virtua Tennis 4 on Vita is showing up (though with the PS3 controller icon). Still seems messed up.

Yeah, one of my friends was playing Virtua Tennis 4 on the Vita, and it showed the PS3 icon on my PS3...

Bizarre. Maybe they haven't updated the icons on the PS3 side of things.

On the Vita, it was the Vita icon.

On the PS3, it was the dual shock icon. But I don't think the PS3 has been updated to add the Vita icon.

You can't choose one or the other, that's been the problem with these systems period. This is actually a step up from the PS3 where trophies never ever turned off.

Seems like they finally fixed the minis as well. Before the update I couldn't play any of the free minis I got as an PS+ member.

So it looks like Sony is carrying over their ps3 tradition of hundreds of useless updates over to the vita.

The update took no time at all, unlike the PS3. Unless Sony is pushing these things out daily or even weekly, I see no reason to bitch about added features and fixes.
