Oh, snap. Then it would indeed be *calculates* roughly four times as expensive as I was anticipating. That is quite expensive, indeed!

Last year was my big vacation. Two large scale events three time zones away, with some hiking in a couple cities

. It was comparable to what you'd be looking at here. That was me shooting my wad, so to speak, as this year's big vacation is much less than half as costly, and going forward I do not anticipate such an expense again.

So what can all of you tell me about "Homestuck"? At that SF convention last weekend, there were like a hundred girls with yellow/orange horns and facepaint, so it's apparently a thing. I looked online, and it's apparently a webcomic that emulates an adventure game.

It seems interesting so far, but what am I missing? And how does the fanbase register on the Ponies/Naruto/DBZ/Trek scale of annoyingness?

I don't know much about it myself, though I know a girl who is reaaaally into it (she's 19.) I was really confused at first too, because I read a bit of the comic but didn't see where the die-hard fandom would come into it. I suppose something must happen later in the comic that uh... drives this.

The other MSPA comics are way better, with Problem Sleuth being the best. Just read them instead.

Also if one of my friends (though I don't really talk to him anymore) is any indication, they're annoying as fuck >_>
