edit: There're no physical ports for gamecube controllers or memory cards. Plus, you just know that Nintendo is itching to rerelase two generation old games.

Is this really that surprising? Sure, had Nintendo stuck to their original plans, Wii U would probably be launching just a month or two from now, but it's been fairly clear since the mid-year briefing last October that there wouldn't be any substantive reveals prior to E3 2012. Less than six weeks to go! :/

I hope so. There are many games that I would prefer digital copies over hard copies. But there are also a few I'd rather physically own. Hopefully we always have the choice.

I believe they'll still make a Wii U Sports, but it's not going to be the system seller as the original was to Wii. That's going to be something different?

Battle Mii and Chase Mii look fun, but I hope they have something more up their sleeves...

The tweets seem to imply that less people are there than last time, QA was probably very short. Considering that the losses were not a big surprise like last time, people were less inclined to show at the meeting I would think.

Again, that was referring to 3DS, not Wii U. Although he's made somewhat similar statements regarding Wii U before, and I'd have a much easier time believing it if he was referring to a console that's more powerful than PS3/360...

Yeah, that's why my bingo card (not the "NOTHING" one) looked particularly boring and had very little mention of stuff like game releases.
