yankee pretty much got it exactly wrong.

Giants fans are regretting that the Eagles got rid of Kolb and didn't start him. Would have been an automatic 2 wins against the Eagles every year.

And yankeehater you are creating a lovely hypothetical where we have to show posts where you said you guaranteed Kolb would be good. Few people are dumb enough to do that, but most of us were proven to be absolutely correct that the guy is garbage. You are lucky the Eagles found someone dumb enough to trade for him and take him off of your hands.

The Saints bounty scandal has taken yet another curious turn.

Attached to the grievances filed Thursday by the NFLPA are the four letters sent by Commissioner Roger Goodell to the players who have been suspended, subject to appeal.

One of the letters is addressed to Packers defensive end Anthony Hargrove, who according to the NFL has confessed to various actions in a signed declaration. Previously, we’d assumed that Hargrove signed the declaration at the behest of the NFL — and we wondered when/if Hargrove would disavow the document by claiming that he signed whatever the league put in front of him, a la Frankie Pentangeli.

As it turns out, the declaration wasn’t harvested by the NFL. It was submitted by the NFLPA.

This makes the contents of the declaration far more persuasive, since there can now be no argument that Hargrove was in any way coerced into signing it by the league. It also could create a conflict for the NFLPA regarding the competing interests of Hargrove and the other three players, if Hargrove admits to things that Jonathan Vilma and Will Smith publicly have denied.

The race is surely on to get the declaration. Gentlemen (and ladies), start your Blackberries.

The NFLPA is filled with idiots

That was in the context of either keeping Mcnabb or Kolb, no one can look back on that now and think that keeping Mcnabb was the right move. I was saying Mcnabb was finished and that he would be horrible, and I was 100% right on that. Kolb definitely struggle last year, and it is looking very unlikely that he will be good, but he is light years ahead of Mcnabb right now. Bowser thanks for finding those it is nice to be proven right this time.

I think the NFLPA is doing this so that they can show just what an absolute pile of festering dog shit the Saints organization really is. They want to show that this isn't something that "every team does." Through the appeals process they will be able to "defend" the suspended players but will also have to bring to light all the sordid details of this disgusting, despicable and diseased franchise.

By completely destroy the Saints, the NFLPA will be able to show that not every player is a lying, cheating, heartless, sociopathic, tax evading bitch but they will still appear to be "defending" the players who got suspended.

It's great!

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
The way the NFLPA has acted with this entire bounty thing makes me wonder why anybody in the world could support that organization.

Mcnabb was great on the eagles. Kolb sucked and has always sucked. You were tricked by his first few starts that had hollow passing #s. you are a kolb fan always and forever! The best part is only you had to eat crow!

Lol the only crow is for the people who kept insisting that the Eagles were dumb to let go of Mcnabb, ask the Redskins and Vikings how that worked out.

lol what. thats dumb as fuck, why would anyone predict us taking a TE anytime soon when we have 120320 issues.

Why would anyone bother to predict at all at this point? They had 2013 picks out the same time as 12. It's idiotic.

This is Kolb's make or break year fools, he's not a bust until this season proves it. He has no excuses now. Better prove everyone wrong Kolb or Red Skelton is taking over!

intangibles, motherfucker
Oh god I said Clausen was gonna be good. I don't like the way back machine. I don't even remember saying that.

But yeah, yankeehater was in love with Kolb.

I think Skelton is going to be the QB this year. I was really impressed by how willing to stand in there against huge pressure he was. Cards just need to go to a quick passing attack. They have the weapons now but they cant have the QBs taking 7 step drops like they did last year.

But mcnabb playing for Reid/eagles is different from him playing in a new offensive system. He obviously couldn't do it.

And there you were, pouting that Reid benched kolb for Vick and calling it unfair even though Vick was great and kolb always looked like ass

Get to know Skins 3rd Round pick Josh LeRibeus! (lmao):

http://dc.sbnation.com/washington-r...2-nfl-draft-josh-leribeus-stabbing-hogs-haven
We took him to the fair and we came across this one booth. The booth had all the balloons tacked up to the wall and you throw those darts. Three darts for like a dollar, whatever. He was very big for his age. He was three but looked like he was seven. And the lady was like, "Do you want to play little boy?" And we were like "No no no no!! We don't want him to have the dart." He was very strong, we were afraid he was going to poke her eye out or something. When we told him no, he just went into instant Josh rage. He picked up the dart and said "MY PLAYING!!!" and stabbed her in the hand...through her hand. Blood was everywhere. I'm freaking out. My husband at the time was trying to pull it out of her hand. And [Josh] just kept saying "My playing!! My playing!!" Oh my God! We had to give him the other two darts to throw at the balloons just to shut him up. It was terrible. It was so embarrassing. We were apologizing profusely.

That throwing stick stunt of yours has boomeranged on us.

Didn't you only say he'd be better than Kolb, there's still a chance.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
It truly is an asinine prediction for the Niners, when we'll still have Rogers, Brown and Culliver on contract next year. Brown is what he is, a 2nd or 3rd CB, that is set in stone and Culliver has the potential for a 1, and they are both young. If Rogers doesn't replicate his awesome season last year it won't cause a make or break decision for us to draft a CB in the first round.

We'll take one next year I'm sure, but it's pretty much just this incessant repetition of every analyst around the league stating we need a CB that caused this prediction.

We don't.

I will always take that side when it comes to injury. I am a huge believer in the idea that you dont lose your job to injury. It worked out great for the Eagles in the end though.

Heh I didn't even realize ez was laughing at the Niners/Pats in the Super Bowl, rather than the picks. Guess I should've picked that up.

I completely agree though, there's not a chance in hell we lose to the Pats. #6tastessosweet

At least they have Giants picking something other than LB/OT, which is seemingly every year for the past five or so seasons with this club. Looking closely at the fools of Kiper and McDouche.

I found this funny

Looking back at last year's early mock draft (posted the week after the 2011 draft), the results were not as bad as I expected. Six of the players I included last spring will return to school this year, and six others -- North Carolina DE Dante Paige-Moss, Miami DT Marcus Forston, Oregon CB Cliff Harris, Arizona State ILB Vontaze Burfict, Texas A&M WR Jeff Fuller, Virginia CB Chase Minnifield -- were not drafted.

nearly a qtr of his Todd McShay predicted 1st rounders when he didn't his 2012 this early after the 2011 draft didn't even get drafted in the 2012 draft

Yes, thankfully for the eagles and their fans you aren't running the team because your boy kolb sucks dick!

Ps. Niners vs bills Super Bowl

Sadly for the 9ers the people running that team love Alex as much as you do. I think Chris Berman predicted bills 9ers SB like 6 years in a row. It would be funny if it really does happen.

Yeah. The Avengers is good people.

Iron Man 1 is awesome. Iron Man 2 was wasted potential.
First 1/3 of Captain America was okay, rest was garbage. Hated Ang Lee Hulk. Hated Thor.

Fun movie.

Totally rooting for the Bills.

Sorry brah. There is only room for one 6 time SB champ in this world!

edit: movies are for losers. Real men spend their time outside pushing strollers!

You could do both, there a million devices that get netflix now
I meant movies outside of the home.

Watching old movies on Netflix or the Big Bang Theory in the background is also acceptable behavior for real men.

Netflix really is one of the greatest things ever though. Hope they get season 2 of Sherlock soon. My only complaint of the service is I usually have to rely on GAF to tell me the good shit on it, but I am sure they will figure out that one day too.

Merril Hoge is calling Kurt Warner "uneducated and uninformed" for worrying about his kids's safety while playing football, and saying that taking your kids off the football field is "jeopardizing their health" because it leads to them sitting on the couch and eating donuts and playing Xbox, which can all ultimately lead to diabetes and obesity, which is far greater of an issue than any issue you'd experience on a football field.

Hoge: "It's the care afterwards that's bad, not the head trauma."

What a fucking dope.
