Games that you *think* only you on GAF have played

Anyone ever play VGA planets? (http://www.vgaplanets.com/)

I played that for hours afterschool

Also still haven't hear anyone that's played

10six, which is now known as Project Visitor.
Played the open beta. Was too busy and broke with college at the time to continue into the full game. Did like my mountain fortress with ToyCo blimps patrolling it, though.

Still, when you declare your game a million player game before it is even released, you've pretty much set yourself up for disappointment.

Circa 1980 I played a game called Epoch on the Apple II. If anyone else here has played it, I'll eat my own poop.

Probably my most played game for the C64. I was blown away with the flying through diamonds part because it felt "3D" and I've never seen that on any other game before that.

Someone mentioned it in an earlier post a few pages back (this is a pretty awesome thread so I more or less went through all of the pages).

I have it on the Powerhits: Battletech Collection CD, and until a couple of months ago, I was playing through it, and I gotta say, it's not too bad a game, considering its age. I gotta get back to it when I can. I was also watching someone's 'let's play' on youtube just to see what differences there were in how we played our runs.

Anyone else play the Quest for Camelot game on the Gameboy?

Owned it and remember it being the most hated of my GB collection. Also played Glover and Starcraft 64 which I saw mentioned.

Anyone else own this piece of crap?

Or this game, which I remember actually being pretty fun?

ah man, Anarchy in the Nippon. I definitely had that one, can't for the life of me remember what happened to it. I must have sold it.

hah, I still own my copy, just popped it in again recently and the game is still just as
bizarre as i remember.. and to think I ASKED fot my friend to search for it when he went to japan one year *lol*

best RTS game ever![/QUOTE]

Okay, maybe I'm missing something here, but there is no way you would think you were the only one who had played those games on GAF.

Pretty much all the Battle Network and Star Force games. I enjoyed them but they obviously never got the mass appeal factor. I've never met anyone else who's played them.

But you're on GAF, so there are of course other people that played them. Personally, I just played Battle Network 2-5 and Star Fore 1-2, but I'm sure others have played all nine games.

Dear Capcom: I know you're busy forgetting that Mega Man exists, but we'd like more Battle Network.

I've played Quest for Camelot (quite liked it, actually), and have my copy of Atomic Bomberman in my cupboard.

Now, did anyone play the Amiga game "Escape from the Planet of the Robot Monsters"?

(I also want to ask about Parasol Stars, even though I'm sure someone has, purely for the joy of knowing someone else has played it!)

Outwars - PC. I'd be shocked if anyone else has played this overlook gem. Needs a current gen remake, stat.
I've played it too, but I'm not sure if it was only the demo or if I was able to finally get my hands on the retail version.

......scent-sational scratch n' sniff, huh?

I probably shouldn't, but I'm gonna need to find out what exactly those scents are.

Edit: That was easy, and surprisingly lame for a game with a "lewd" setting: Pizza, Chocolate, Mothballs, Perfume, Garlic, Leather, Banana

I'm sure it's virtually impossible to be the only person to have played a game on Gaf but I'm curious if anyone else played Midnight Rescue! It was an educational detective adventure game. I remember playing it quite a bit as a kid.

I've played a ton of obscure games, but I'd say this is the one I've never seen anyone else play:

Obscure stealth espionage action game.

Janky as heck, but like nothing else I've ever played.

Heavy Metal FAKK 2
TRBOC.jpg

Rituals 3rd person shooter sequel to the Heavy Metal 2000 movie.
Can't think of any other person I've ever come across that has played this.

or these

Star Trek Voyager Elite Force

&
Star Trek Elite Force 2

Raven and Ritual made some damn excellent shooters in the late 90's early 2000's and i can't think of anyone who played them

Hi. Completed all of them at the time.

Basically a series of Myst-like puzzle rooms, no real story or characters, but it had nice atmosphere and music. One of the first CD-ROM games I had.

Oh man, so many great memories of me playing it with my cousin over LAN. This and Rune/Jedi Outcat...

Roommania #203

A love-it-or-hate-it life simulator where you take control of a ghost-god and spy on a Japanese teenager. By throwing invisible ping-pong balls at objects in his apartment, you can cause him do just about anything: watch TV, have a smoke, take a leak, or even find love. Depending on your temperament, this game will either disturb you or fulfill your sick fantasies.
You made me interested. Was it even relased outside Japan?

I can't check all 19 pages, but here's the games I THINK no one played on GAF. If you did let me know!
I remember Grom being quite nice actually. Who gave it on their cover CD/DVD? CD-Action? Play?
Midnight Racing was shit though. But hey, it was IncaGold, it was to be expected...

When people talk about Monolith, (the american one) what do they say?
Most say F.E.A.R., Condemned and NOLF.
Some say SHOGO and remember that Lith made AvP2, Tron 2.0 and Blood.
A few would even say about Claw, a great platformer.
But I hardly ever (actually once - not here) heard people say about this game:

Why?! ;_;

If it makes you feel any better I've played it and thought it was quite cool. Only a demo though, wasn't good enough for me to buy a retail version.

BGBW

Maturity, bitches.
Superior GBC version was one of my favourite games growing up.
Wow. Usually I only see people bring up the PSX version. Glad to see I'm not the only one who played the GBC version of Azure Dreams.

Played it with the superior PAL cover design. You'll probably find it is the sequel that many people didn't play.

Atomic Bombermannnnnnn
Abombercov.jpg

Got that. Also knew someone at uni who had it installed on his laptop so I sometimes played it during lectures. Then I realised I really should be paying attention rather than winning Bomberman matches.

jR1BPYN7Utjwo.jpg

I imported this and found myself obsessed. Great track design and challenging as hell. Better than RR1 (except for the soundtrack), which was released less than a year earlier on PS1 in Japan. It released in the West as High Velocity: High Mountain Challenge.

Some vids from the first and second ones:

Full boost downhill.

Powerslide.
Full counter.
High Velocity HMC offscreen footage.

Check that Kid n' Play song and footage from 2.
More footage from 2.
Between this set of two and Sega Rally, Saturn was still quite formidable with its small 3D racing selection.
