Most Wii U games probably won't run in 1080p except simpler ones. Although more somewhat graphically intense titles will possibly be 1080p where a comparable title running on PS3 or 360 would not be.

Yeah pretty much. Despite other posters encouraging him to give us the gist or even hints of what his thread will be about, he insists on waiting until he can post his own thread. It's clearly some kind of ego thing for him at this point. I can respect that he doesn't want to share it with everyone unless he gets to make a big proper deal of it, but enough of the teasing, already.

Isn't the running joke with the current gen that almost nothing ACTUALLY runs at 720p, but instead some sub-HD res and cheaply upscales so they can include more graphical effects and filters?

I thought the rumor was only that if a game took full advantage of the pad, rendered at full quality to the pad, that the game couldn't keep up the framerate without being 720p. If that is the case then I wouldn't say that most games won't run at 1080p; most games will use the secondary screen for maps and menus and stuff, not to render a second full-graphics screen.

Also, many developers don't care about framerate, and would rather do 1080p at 30fps than 720p at 60fps

I wish there was a way to seethe difference in 1080 and 720p for myself. Something along the lines a of a blue ray disc with three sample games switching between the modes. Also, comparisons between 60 and 30fps along with anti-aliasing techniques. It may turn out 720p @ 30fps but with best AA may may be more pretty than 1080p/30fps with no anti-aliasing.

I just said that i have 2 bunch of info, thread-worthy, and i want to make the threads because i want the control over the op, to edit my message, refine the content, the wording, the spelling, even every 2 seconds if i want.

Not my fault if people are so eager and post every two pages "hey when ideaman post ?????" instead of analyzing something else, talking about other matters, searching themselves informations (like a few are doing), etc.

If one person can't even warn that he will make a thread about a Wii U info when he will be able to do it, without meeting such negative reactions, well, i may had too much faith in our maturity.

You're seriously not sure why people would question you? I mean, it's kind of something that is easy to fake with a little information. I'm not saying that you are faking it, but I'm saying that it's done in the past, and naturally people are going to be skeptical. Taking it personally is foolish, because you knew coming in that people weren't going to believe you until E3 or whenever.

Augh, I totally forgot about the pad display. Good call. Okay, so TV resolution might only be a minor improvement over what we currently get, but hopefully we'll be getting more REAL 720p content more often than 5xxp or 6xxp content upscaled.

My theory is they know he knows something and are just throwing tantrums that he reveals it on his terms and not theirs.

I like reading it and i take everything with the biggest grain of salt possible. If he lied, he gets banned anyhow, so i don´t get the hate too!

I'm just surprised that he didn't expect people to be skeptical about this. It's basically a given, and what's the point of saying anything trying to defend yourself? Just wait till E3, and then it will show that you told the truth and you will be trusted from there on out.
