finally i ditched my dumbnextel for a brand new iphone 4s, it just sucks that the data plans are ass idk how am im going to survive with a 1gb monthly plan :(

I found that a rarely go over a GB on my 1 GB plan. I had the same concern as you.

Granted I usually have wifi available but who doesn't?

Okay, now the month's almost over, and here's my pile for this month...

Finally picked up a couple of N-Gages for the Handhelds collection... My son and I have hummed and hawed about adding these to our collection for a while; we had originated the collection with the idea that it would be restricted to dedicated gaming handhelds, which the N-Gages are not, but as the first attempt to blend a gaming console with a cell phone, we decided they were interesting enough to warrant inclusion. Besides, we got 'em cheap...

...also remarkably cheap was the Mario 25th Anniversary DSi XL... I wanted to play my recently acquired copy of Order of Ecclesia (the lone DS cart at the bottom right) on a bigger screen but didn't want to deprive my wife of her
butt ugly burgundy
DSi XL, so I grabbed this minty one when it showed up on the counter at my favorite Microplay. It looks like it was never used, and after spending so much time with my Vita, the larger screens are much appreciated...

Resident Evil Revelaitions, Super Mario 3DLand and Star Fox 64 3D, along with Lego Harry Potter, Asphault Injection and Touch My Katamari all came from Microplay as a part of a B2G1 they were having on used games a couple weeks ago... Front Mission DS is from Microplay too. The PSP games came from HMV's "we're not selling video games anymore" blowout...

I was glad to get Alien Anthology, but the color seemed a little too blue in Aliens, and then I did something really stupid and watched Alien Resurrection again (seems every couple of years I have to remind myself that despite all the things it has going for it - some great cast, a kinda cool premise, Joss Whedon - the movie sucks)...

I paid good money for this Dynex!
Toaplan Vimana get !

DSCF5199.jpg

Is that an attache case you store that thing in?

Because that'd be awesome.

And I know nothing about the game, but Toaplan means it's probably good. Hyper Violence shooting makes me hope its about flying an F15 close to the ground and spraying the world with people's arterial fluid.

Yay for Mushi in the pick-up thread.

Kinda bittersweet if it is, indeed, the last Cave release for 360.

That's why I decided to pick it up. I wasn't planning on it, or at least waiting for a Cave The Best version, but I figured I'll do my part to thank them for their support.

I got the whole set in Malaysia, a few weeks back. The price listed for each was MR28, while prices in Singapore range from S$19.00 to S$25, because of a favorable exchange rate, I only paid S$11.30 for each book, I love a bargain.

I've had a Sony XBR960 in my game room for about a year and a half now and I absolutely love it.
I went to visit a friend a few months back and found out he had one too!

Fast-forward to 2 weeks ago: The same friend said he was getting a free 50 inch TV from a friend's parents and his XBR was all mine if I wanted it!
Of course I said yes and I just went and picked it up this past weekend.
It turns out that it's an XBR960N, which is slightly different but still pretty amazing.
It was free so no complaints here! :D

This monstrosity is going in my bedroom whenever I find a tall, sturdy stand for it.

This brings back sad memories. I purchased one of these locally a few months ago only to have it break on the way home due to a quick stop on the highway flipping it over. Colors are messed up and degaussing didn't fix it. So sad.

I still have it, dunno how to get it downstairs. :(

NICE!! I had a 30xbr910 I bought new, I gave it to my brother before the HD consoles came out. Ill never forget walking into his room when he had a xbox 360 and seeing games on it.... Suffice to say I seriously regret letting it go, it destroyed the Samsung 50 inch dlp I had at the time.

I believe the 960n doesnt have a AR filter on it, some say that is good, some say its bad, all it really means is the screen gets washed out more with ambient light.

If you got the dough, getting those bad boys ISF calibrated is a must, convergence, geometry , color etc can be vastly improved!

Something totally unexpected just showed up by fedex... a free ipod touch that I won by playing some stupid game in an ad on the iphone.

Pretty neat and sturdy little package. I'll likely end up selling it since I've no need for an ipod an ipod touch and neither am I a coca cola collector.

It even has lights in the case:

Diablo III is fantastically addictive.

A Gordy's camera strap, 47" dark brown leather strap and grey wool string. Really classy. Also found two Canon EOS Rebel 2000 (300 here in Europe) in near-mint condition. Great and easy to use film SLRs. I'm gonna grab a couple of batteries tomorrow and shoot a test roll. All my EF lenses and gear work with these cameras.

After being in love with Dark Souls since release I decided I just had to buy Demon's Souls. As for Vanquish I bought it solely based on GAF hype.

Went to the Phoenix comic con today (go every year) it was much bigger than last year and had a good time. Took a ton of great pics!

By far my highlight was meeting Rob, creator of Cyanide and Happiness and getting a personal sketch....
