Crusader Kings 2 if this is anything to go by. All of the games mentioned in that stream, in that order, have been the sale daily deals.

Hmm okay, so i guess it's safe to dive in for Warlock and Cities in Motion.

Speaking of which what is the general consensus of Warlock and CiM?

Origin's DeMartini: Steam sales 'cheapen intellectual property'

"We don't believe in the drop-it-down, spring-it-up, 75 percent off approach, but we've got something else that we do believe in that we'll be rolling out," he said, without revealing the company's plans outright.

They probably figured they'd INCREASE the price for older games, you know, for added time value or something. That's surely to increase the value of intellectual property, right?

EDIT: lol sorry, totally late, damn joystiq :p (thanks salsashark)

which is why i won't buy games on origin if possible. Consumers finally get awesome deals on games and EA comes in crying and trying to rearrange things. I'm pretty sure thise 'awesome deal' from EA is some lame subscription service.

So any impressions of Warlock and Cities in Motion?

I can't speak for Warlock, but I've played a fair amount of cities in motion.

Firstly, it's a very difficult game to just pick up. There's a pretty high learning curve so just be aware of what you're getting yourself into. It's extremely easy to run out of money very quickly and you need to be very patient. Aside from that, it's a lot of fun if transport management is your sort of ball. The only thing I really didn't like was the fact that a lot of the content that felt like it should have already been in the game came out as DLC.

Cities in Motion is a solid title now that it's been patched a bit, and for instance has an option to set traffic levels. It could still be better, but I'd definitely recommend it for sale price. Even more if it gets a daily deal of course.

It's an awesome game and just playing through the non-DLC missions takes a good while. I'm probaly picking up some of the DLC this sale though.

Oh I love challenge in transport games. Consider this bought. I doubt it'd be the fourth title on major sale since hints point to Crusader Kings II.

Hmm no one gonna vouch for Warlock then?

Oh my God, Mount & Blade: Warband is like one of my dream games, minus a whole lot of polish. So good.
My friend, who is a huge history buff and also a history major, absolutely adores all M&B games. He's put in 50+ hours and that's just counting Warband. He's always trying to get me to play Warband, Shogun 2, or Rome Total War. Haha, never works.

Thanks@Visualante2.
Sadly already activated.

To the guy who took it. At least thank Visualante....

Well the code wasn't hidden, so it's possible that it was grabbed by a non-GAF lurker. In which case, they have no way of thanking Visualante2. If that's the case, you've offered thanks on their behalf. I'll join you in that.

Thanks to Visualante2 for his/her generosity. I already owned the game, so I didn't even try to grab it. Thanks though.

You should try the Napoleonic Wars DLC. It's really special and plays like no other game on the market. It's crazy to storm a fort together with 100 other people when 100 people are defending it.

Reply to this post and I will PM you SMB, Lone Survivor and Braid key. Also please only claim the key if you actually want to play these games in the very near future (=you don't have a 100+ game Steam backlog).

HI!

Edit: GOD DAMNIT!

I'm waiting for an awesome 75% off Deus Ex: HR complete ultimate rainbow edition or something! The game has been on and off heavy sales on several other sites, but I decided to wait nevertheless!

Only a few more!

And now I just realized, what are the chances of Warlock and CiM getting a much better sale in Summer sale?
