I'll not have you badmouthing Big Bo!

Also he loves to charge out into a field of bullets.
I'm at a part where I open these huge doors and a bunch of droids carrying shields are behind them flooding the area with bullets.
Big Bo goes all Leroy Jenkins every single time.

I'm not really sure. I have been able to redeem Xbox full game codes before, even for stuff that's locked in my area. E.g. Alan Wake on Games on Demand, (which I can't otherwise buy). Not sure if it'd be the same with GFWL

SFxT was listed on Steam back when it was up for pre order, but it was pulled. Same with Arkham City and Super Street Fighter IV. Oddly enough, I got Arkahm Asylum from Steam (also GFWL) and it works perfectly. I do have to keep my hotmail adress info set to USA.
Microsoft is weird like that.

Alan wake is not a multiplayer focused game. Neither is Arkham asylum. Street Fighter is.

If you live in a Region that doesn't have Games for Windows LIVE (live being the important part here. If there's no live in your region, you can't play games multiplayer), it won't be up for sale for you. As in, Steam won't sell it to you (as it would be unplayable).

Yes, if you just say you're from US when registering for a Live account, there's no problem and Multiplayer works.

Just get somebody to gift it to you (through Steam) when the price reaches the price you wish it for.

What I would really, really love is the ability to hide games. Even Origin has that. Sure I can put those games in their own category but those reset all the time and the only way to add categories is one by one

I just set it to only show installed.

It won't. Only versions of the game purchased through Steam will actually be on the service (for that particular game).

I must be confused with Origin. I heard the GB guys mention they added some non-Origin old EA Keys/games to the service and were able to download the games from there.

If it's not available for you, only way to get it is to make somebody gift it to you.

Didn't think about that one. I could set up a VPN and gift myself the code, but I think Steam doesn't like that...

Can you describe your situation? PC, or laptop? Wired to cable modem, or router, or nothing at all? Do you need to play in offline mode because of no access (armed services deployment) or because of unreliable connection?

Exactly what error message(s) do you get from Steam when you launch it in offline mode?

There may be some things you can do to get it working depending on the situation. Disabling the ethernet adapter from the control panel is the main one. Anyway, if we know more we might be able to help you out. :)

It's not just him. As far as i'm aware, it's a problem for everyone right now, and valve have acknowledged it.

EDIT:

Here's the thread

and here's the post from a mod

Oh, I didn't know there had been a change that affected everyone. What channel does Valve use to acknowledge this -- a SPUF forum somewhere?

*edit* Thanks for the links. I'm glad they are aware of it.

Threw an edit on my post, with links.

I've had the problem too, as of a few days ago. Ironically about the same time, i had the first trouble with my connection since Diablo 3 launch. My ISP just knows the right times, when to stick the knife in, it seems.

happy tears?

It's ok. I like it so far because it seems to have lofty ambitions even if it lacks polish I've come to expect in TPS games.
The boss designs are ace so far as well.

Stole the exact words, i would have used to describe the game.

So far well, well worth the 6 pound i spent on it.

Was shocked to log on and see Divine Divinity on Steam. Amazing game, good to see older stuff still being added.

Spec Ops is hard locked at 30 fps for me for some reason. This is even after deleting the config folder.

I got upto 60 once, but as soon as I stopped staring at that wall it went back down to 30. 95% its 30, but at certain places it shoots up to 60 for a few seconds.

It can go to 60 if you turn vsync off, i'm gonna try and see if forcing vsync through catalyst keeps it at 60.

SFxTekken isn't available for my region in Steam.

How do I know if by purchasing it through Gamestop or Gamersgate I'll get a product key I can add to my Steam games?
If you're planning to play it online, the game really isn't worth it. Online is very broken still (lots of teleporting, but the sound has been fixed!!) and the support from Capcom has been fucking shit enough that I'm outright refusing to buy any of their PC games for the next 5 or so years and fighting games for a longer period. It's fun if you like playing single player though, even though it is out of date compared to its console counterparts and there is still no DLC available at all (free colours + costumes).

I made a small post about this game in another thread and I think the online has actually been worse since the "new" 1.2 patch (which was about 1.5 months late and out of date). And I really doubt we'll be getting the next 1.5 update any time soon as their shit PC support has proven. SSF4AC is still on 1.6, even though their shitty mouthpiece (Sven) promised the latest version of 1.7 months ago. I hope he gets fired.

Personally I just put all the games I want displayed as favorites, then I select favorites from that dropdown thing so only my favorites show in grid view. Eliminates any unwanted games/icons.
