So the listing for the Scott Pilgrim Wallace/online DLC was removed from MajorNelsons blog... not amused.

Ubisoft did not offer Joystiq a reason for the sudden delay, but did clarify a new release window. "The DLC for Scott Pilgrim will be releasing this fall," an Ubisoft rep told us. "The PSN version will release during that same timeframe. We'll have more information as we get closer to launch."

Deadblock is tempting at that price. I always through it was a nice little game, but it came out at a time where I just had no time for it.

And JoJo's "HD" Comes out this week, too...

In for Crazy Machines and maybe Skydrift too. TNT Racers is probably awful, right?

Puh, it's actually a pretty solid game to be fair. Lots of fun IF (A BIG IF) you have people to play with. The single player is ok but it's all about the multi and as far as I'm concerned, this was broken upon release (not sure of the status now). Good game though, a lot like Mashed (the decent PS2 version - not this gens piece of poop).

I just played through Faery: Legends of Avalon a week or so ago (bought it the last time it was on sale) and I really liked it for what it was.

It's got a PS1-era JRPG battle system going on if you like that.

Me, I just like faeries. :)

I've been looking for something like this to get stuck into... it seems it's only about six hours long though?
Hmm, that seems on the low end? I guess it depends on how you play your games. I think I spent about ten or twelve hours on it, I did the whole game (including all quests and achievements) in a single Sunday. It's not overly difficult, but I did have to wander around a few times trying to find things.

So a friend messaged me earlier saying that Serious Sam 3 is about to or already had been submitted for cert on LA, any truth to this? When did they even announce it was coming to LA? I thought they had canned the console release.

Anyway, decent sales this week. Skydrift is great for those who might be in the fence. Drop me a FR if you buy it, get some races going.

Yeah Serious Sam 3:BFE was announced alongside Serious Sam Double D XXL from Mommys Best Games, both for XBLA.
Double D will be 800 MSP, not sure about SS3, 1200?

From the Croteam facebook page.

Update on Serious Sam 3: BFE Xbox 360 - 3rd party testing:

We have completed our internal testing last week.

Final build was uploaded over the weekend to a 3rd party testing company, e4e, for the external testing.
They wil be testing both the Xbox 360/XBLA TCRs and FTCs.

E4e has already started with testing on Monday morning.
We are monitoring their testing progress on the fly through the bug r
eports they provide directly in our Bugzilla database.

Also, we are fixing discovered issues from the previous day and then upload the new fixed build in the evening, so they have it ready for regression testing the next morning.

Looking good so far...

Aug 17th,
Update on Serious Sam 3: BFE Xbox 360 - 3rd party testing - last day:

Brief:
Today is the last day of external testing.
Overall, testing went well.
Game is ready for a delivery to MS for certification/official testing.

Details:
There weren't that much issues. This means our internal testing was good.
Mostly it was TCR issues with incorrect messages shown when game gets interrupted (e.g. client
drops out, signing in/out) and wrong terms required by MS which are used in messaging.
There were also some "fail to return to main menu" issues when game gets interrupted.
And there were some "stuck in level" issues and some crashes, several of which were really difficult to reproduce.
Our guys also found a number of issues and a few nasty crashes while testing internally.
We managed to fix all reported so far.
We are confident this version (provided nothing big comes up today) is good and ready to be delivered (most likely end of next week) to MS for final testing.

SS3 and Double D XXL were announced a few months ago.

Never played it, but I really like the artstyle. Why should I play it, and what kind of game could I compare it with?

I recommend it just for the funky soundtrack. It's not like anything, really. That's kind of what's cool about it. Closest thing I can think of is Zombies Ate My Neighbors, and that's a stretch.

How is Trials Evolution for same-screen multiplayer? I was checking out the demo and it's possible I could get into it...but probably not for long on my own. thx

It's excellent. The track list is literally unlimited because of the community import feature and players of unequal skill level can still have a good time together.

Deadlight's worth picking up on sale sometime.

Alternatively, if you've purchased two other Summer of Arcade games I believe today would still count on buying three and getting 400 points back. In a way it brings Deadlight to 800 points. That's the reason I finally decided to buy the game a couple days ago.

I've played through the first act (1/3 of the game) and aside from a couple stray moments of frustration due to controls I've enjoyed it a fair bit. Won't be a terribly long game but anymore that's a plus since that means there's a good chance I'll finish the game. I imagine you should expect at most around five hours to collect everything? I spent around an hour so far on that first third of the game and I'm assuming it'll get harder and slower going.

Wanna hear a good joke? Waste your time helping me! LOL!
Been trying a lot of those games listed in everyone's recommendations and I still can't figure out what to get. Still have 1200 points left over.

I'll be trying the CS:GO demo tomorrow but in all honesty I'm not expecting much from it.
