Phantasy Star Online 2 Import |OT| YOUR MAJESTY

helped a brotha out on multiple separate occasions!
So guys with Xbox Live doing Free to Play now, do you think Sega will try to work out something to get it on the service with constant updates?
I highly doubt it. Putting aside the issue of content updates/fees, the dev team is aiming to have cross platform servers and I imagine MS wouldn't budge on that. I'm crossing my fingers for a next gen port though. If they don't come across too many issues with the Vita version I can see them looking into a PS4 port.

Oh, i have a quick question. Is there a way to change the way your Mag looks like like they did in PSZ, or are the only cosmetic effects available through leveling up only?

They're introducing cosmetic Mag devices later this month. The Recycle Shop will let you trade in AC scratch items (real money/player shops) in exchange for mag cosmetic devices and the premium set (retail version in Japan) will include a code for a Sato (PSO Force mag) mag evolution device. Going by the screenshots released, the Recycle Shop will carry a mag color device that lets you specifically set the color of your mag and a Rappy mag evolution device.

I would pay good money for a Dreamcast mag. It's got to be in there somewhere, right?

Well, FFXI was released on a microsoft console and it also had cross platform servers with the PS2/PC versions, so who knows.

That was before Microsoft started to enforce their XBox Live policies more seriously, that's why FFXIV isn't coming to the XBox 360, it's also why the PSU XBox 360 servers were separated from the PC/PS2 servers.

So I had a pretty crazy couple of nights.

Last night, after lamenting my low stockpile of grinders, it was decided to try and join a Floating Continent multiparty. Things were slow for a bit but things quickly ramped up to the point that within a single 20 minute span we had fought off two Dark Ragne, two Caterdransa, and a Quartz Dragon - and this pattern basically repeated over and over the entire time I was there.

I got many, many new things in storage, mostly various souls and Mutation 1s. But most notably, I got an Alva Diffuse, the strongest 5 star Talis currently available.

Which brings me to tonight... with few people online and being only 20 items away from completely filling my 500 items worth of storage, I decided to take the new toy as far as it would go. It was already better than the Talis Legacy I've been using since open beta, but I decided to take T-ATK as far as I could... and after an hour of destroying about 30 spare weapons, I finally had it the way I wanted.

Amazingly, I then managed to grind it all the way to +10 without a single failure, only using a 5% success rate increase item (not enough to provide any visible benefit) and a failure penalty -1 item on the last upgrade.

The final product stood at 432 T-ATK, 99 higher than my previous Talis Legacy +8 w/ Ragne Soul. And it looks like I have the Batwing strapped to my back.

How dare you mock Lisa >:l. Anyways, that's some serious luck you have. I have a habit of not grinding anything that's at Safe condition. I feel that I'm not as lucky and it will just go down in value like that last weapon I tried to grind and failed miserably.

New Campaign is up. Anyone with Mag level 30 or more by 10.10 will get 2 rare drop +50% boosters.

Sweet, My magy is already at 42.

If you go back several pages you'll probably see the post I made after the incident that set me back 300 grinders and some 650k meseta to end up with a weapon 6 upgrades worse than what I started with. That Metalisolidum is still rotting in my storage.

I also wasn't very lucky to start with when adding the abilities on - managed to destroy some 25 or so materials with Technic (varying levels) before I got both it and the Ragne soul to stick to the weapon. I actually ended up using a risky method to transfer Technic 3 in by placing the soul first, but with me running out of raw materials I wasn't left with much choice. The percentages you see are actually also boosted by 5% with a success rate increase item, so it was originally a 45%/37% chance of success. D:

Also, I just looked at other screenshots to calculate the total meseta cost of this adventure: 346,013.

Bwahahaha ;_; I can't seem to get passed 20k meseta

I have three Mags over level 30, do I get three sets? :p

(I'm sure the answer is no.)
How'd you get three magys?

Noooo, looks likes the new update killed my game. First it Crashed my entire computer, then it just gives me an error while at the lobby and shuts off.

That continues to sound like Gameguard. The whole point of the thing is to prevent you from running programs that tamper with the game, but it really just ends up trying to prevent you from running programs period :p

Doesn't look like Sega has plans to bring the Vita version of PSO2 stateside. =(

Oh well, PC version will suffice but I'd like to have both versions...

(Sorry if posted already.)

He didn't confirm or deny it so it probably means it will come at some point, it's just not in the plans yet... maybe? :(

Anyone knows what's this error? I can't get past the intro video without it popping up and crashing the game, it's been a few days since I booted the game and it happened right after updating.

It's a generic error. It's what I was getting a few days ago when Gameguard refused to stay open. The game would close itself almost immediately because Gameguard wasn't open.

Check and see if the Gameguard icon pops up in your tray after it loads or not. If it doesn't, the game won't actually work.

It started working for me again with the update yesterday, but it's obviously not "fixed"...

I checked it out, the Gameguard icon appears just for a split second before vanishing, the game crashes afterwards, I'll try it on the laptop tonight.

Occasionally this will happen when I'm doing stuff while GameGuard is loading. I've taken to just let the opening movie play until hard drive activity drops to a normal level (to indicate GameGuard is done with whatever it does when it first starts up). Haven't had it happen twice in a row yet *knocks on wooden desk vigorously*

Mikan, you're too young for that one.

Wow spent 3-5 hour(lost track of time) doing the Matter Board 6 D-3 where you need the unit drop from the Quartz dragon. AND STILL DIDN'T get it yet :(

So, I was saving up to buy one of those white uniforms... But I went and bought all the new Cast parts instead :p

Also, WOW, the armband accessory is expensive. I want one, but the cheapest is almost 2 million.

Hahaha, good to know. It seems that I have to get the next Difficulty unlock quest in order to get to the Tundra areas. What level do I have to get to to get that quest?
The hard mode unlock quest appears at lv 17, and at lv 20 the tundra unlock client order appears (as long as you already unlocked the desert free field).

The tundra unlock client order is not possible to complete until lv 25 though. Also, there's no normal mode yet for the tundra quests, these require lv 30, and the tundra free field requires lv 33.
Normal mode for tundra, mines and skyland will be added sometime this month though, possibly next wednesday.

Well, I hope so, cause this level requirement stuff is getting irritating now.

So you basically have to spend alot more money to completely transfer everything in your storage. SO when they say Data attached to your character, does that include stuff like Meseta?

Anything on your character would transfer, meseta or items. The issue is, storage and everything to do with storage is ship-wide. If you had multiple characters, they'd all get access to the same storage.

So if one character moved and took it with... what would happen to the others?

Of course that doesn't help you if you only have one character, but it's not hard to see why it is the way it is :p

Yeah, you need the base class at the proper level, then I believe you have to complete a CO to unlock it.
Could be tough, seeing how crazy some COs can be to complete.

Anyways, got Hunter to 40 and My ranger is just shy of 20. Can't wait for this update.
Double sabers and crazy gunner PAs, HO!

Yeah, I meant the CO. Gather million items from the crystal dragon or something probably.

It's going to be a fighter with 2 daggers for me and I'm getting the premium package for all the sweet weapons/one month premium on Thursday!

How do you get all these nice things? Do you just buy the package or do you need to have that whole Premium Pass thingy? I want to know since this might be the first time I actually buy something from them.
